What firmware is your psp?
If it's either 3.71m33,3.80m33,3.90m33 or 4.01m33,then you can follow this guide of mine to help you install CXMB 3.2.1 on your psp.Once done doing so,you can apply CTF themes to your psp.I don't recommend flash 0 themes because you'll need to access and alter several files in your flash 0 in order to get a theme installed.This means,your psp will brick if you do something wrong.Another disadvantage of using flash 0 themes is that you can't switch themes on the go.

You most probably have a fake stick.You might want to try formatting your memory stick on your PSP.If the same problem still occurs,then it's beyond my knowledge field.

*Make sure you back up all your important files before you format your stick*

You mean you want to checl wether your memory stick is a fake one or not?
If so,scroll to any tabs in your main menu(Like video or music etc),then hit triangle.
If it says "Memory Stick : Unknown",then it's a fake memory stick.If it says MagicGate Supported,then it's genuine.

holla~ i was told to post this here...

I completed FF Crisis Core in my friend's phat PSP (call it PSP A) before i purchased my own PSP (call it PSP B) until last week. So, i transfered the saved game from PSP A to PSP B to enjoy the special features on my replay. Funny that when i load the game, it shows;

"Load failed. The data is corrupted"

any way to solve this? well, it'll be good to understand the causes even if i cant save it though, since i myself am PSP owner now.

ps: i'm not too sure of this but some say FF has several versions, so the saved game files may not be compatible. FYI i transferred the entire FF game file from PSP A to PSP B, assuming it should work since the sources are the same, but sadly, it didnt...

any idea?

thank you in advance~

@5zal06
better u google it... but for general knowledge..
mem stick and mem card is the same thing..
sony company didnt use mem card word..
so they use mem stick to express their mem card to public..
once u said mem stick, ppl will think it will compatible with sony product..
but for more accurate just google it..

that because PSP A n PSP B have a diffrent firmware. Some save games can only be use/read on the same firmware.

So far nothing u can do. U need to play the game again.

I encountered the same problem on my PSP

Even though the same game, but different ISO rip or different version (e.g US/EU version), the save game may not work

I would suggest get your friend's iso and try

That is if you are using ISO games la

yes, the save game not gonna work if the game in on diffrent region since the code is diffrent. But u not gonna get an error if u put diffrent region save game on ur memory card,because they use diffrent folder.

to format your memory stick:

1)go to SETTINGS in your XMB

2)Click on system and scroll down to Format Memory Stick

simple as 123.

==EDIT==
please backup the files you want so that you don't lose your files inside that you want.
such as music, photos, movie, savefile from game.

5zal06 use fake m.card so its not a good idea to format trough psp since psp will format with fat32. Its better to format with fat16 for fake memory card.

The best way is to use this software to format fake m.card...

by the way.. just ignore it.. just same also.. diff mem card come with diff file format and the way they encrypt the data..

@blackamikaze
well what is the diff between fat32 and fat16?
look like fat32 more faster than fat16?
if so why not just format with fat32? im blurr.. ^.^

the diffrent is FAT16 have bigger cluster size than FAT32. For the speed, FAT32 is not faster than FAT16. FAT32 just uses space more efficiently compare to FAT16.

But for some reason psp read faster with FAT16 compare FAT32, maybe the big cluster size help psp read data more easier.

Anyway this only true for psp n maybe certain devices but not for pc..

but i thought you can just format your mem stick with your pc without a 3rd party program?. but havent tried it though.
and, fat32 is faster to read in psp than fat16. read it somewhere. by formatting with your pc, you'll format it as fat16.
