Anyway, what do you guys think of the rockers Amanda Overmyer and David Cook? They don't seem to be discussed much here.

But this season does seem to have some interesting talent,hopefully we'll get to see something better than last season's finale

Yeah, last season was dull. Now, I just hope Brooke White can sing some Colbie Caillat [Realize or Bubbly would be great choices].

I like both Davids, and Carly is great. And yes Kady Malloy too. Completely forgot about her until just now.

i pity carly when paula kept going on and on and onnnnnnnn about anything but the decision. poor her!

It's a pity they didn't put Cardin in. She would have made great eye candy

Yeah, Colbie would suit Brooke and Kristy can sing something from Taylor Swift [Cold As You or Teardrops On My Guitar would be great]

Yeah she is! She's abit too "easy" though. Even the latino managed to have his way with her.

Woo wee! Kristy Lee Cook, Kady Malloy and Cardin were good to see... To bad Cardin had to go tho...

Anyway, abt the dood living in the car... he deserved it... I mean yea, he lives in a car, boo-hoo, but its about the better singer, not the one u feel sorry for the most...

I mean, he was lucky to even get considered to be in the 24... other ppl screwed up the last performance and got cut... he screwed up and still got to go thru... he was talented, i'll give him that, but the point is, he screwed up the in most important part...

And like wat Simon said, if he wants to dismiss the band, he better be 100% sure he's gonna deliver... it was all down to over-confidence, and he didnt deliver... kinda like M&R from TARA, they were over confident too... Except that M&R were a little bit on the @$$ hole side and that kid was genuinely a good guy... So i feel sorry for him, but maybe its time he goes home and live with his parents again... Its worth more than being the American Idol...

Yet to see more of their performances thou.

I thought he dismissed the band bcoz he wasn't in sync with em? Probably he thought it would have been really bad if he had gone along with the band so he decided to give it a shot. Don't know if it was so much of overconfidence

I really wanted that politician and the fat black guy (the one that has that 'Bang chi ki wa wa') to make it to top 24. It may not be the greatest voice but come on, ppl watch AI for some 'special' talents.
