KLC style is exactly like carrie underwood. i wont be surprise if she can win this year AI title. thats 2 country singer winning the title 2 years in a row.

aww and pity that emo fat girl until the 3 judges must teman her out of the hall and send praise 2 her parents saying she did very great 2 went this far. how sweet eh?

also another favourite of mine is the patriotic rock chick wannabe showing lame victory sign and shoot a lot of  F**K bombs on the camera behind the judges after not make it 2 hollywood. DUH! i seriously find the patriotic chick more funny and stupid than the star wars ala princess leila immitation chick.

i think there is a lot more stupid moments but these are the most i can remember ah so far. i cant wait 2 see whats in stores 4 us in texas.

I know Nostalgia likes KLC but sorry, I am rooting for Brooke White. Her voice very sweet and her personality matches it. She's got the voice, the looks and the personality. And it's time we have had a folk/Christian-pop singer in Idol

Edit: On a more serious note,the girl who can do the voice impersonation (and does a mean Britney one ) is really good. Another one to look out for

Randy was funny but Paula was over the top lah. She spoilt the fun. So fugly. Simon makes me laugh lah. XD

I foresee that this song may be sung at the American Idol 7 season finale.

Towards the end to the preview of tomorrow, got footage of Brooke crying! How can they dump her?! Worst part is that they made her cry! 

Not sure but anyway, how can they make her cry? I mean I think Simon was referring to Brooke when he said to Paula "Come on Paula, you are torturing this girl!" Simon's right. I mean, Paula's just jealous that Brooke's so beautiful even without the makeup. 

But anyway, my favourites so far:

3) The guy with voice problem who sang John Mayer during the audition stage

Agree with Simon on KLC's song choice. You'd expect someone like Jennifer Hudson to sing that song. But KLC's a good sport, taking everything in her stride.

Haha, you should see the plus-size model's parents and their faces. They looked at Simon like they want to kill him. But I agree with Simon's assessment.

Alaina Witakher (sp?) looks hot But, I don't really like her. : / Her songs are boring.

Amanda @ Janis Joplin soundalike really makes me LOL. She looks like one of the aunties in Sabrina The Teenage Witch But I loved her energetic performance.

Is there something wrong with Brooke's hands? Can't she hold the mic? A bit disappointed by her performance. My two favs (Brooke and KLC) sound mediocre. Wasn't it yesterday that I just heard "Happy Together" as well? At least there's humor in the comments.

   
   

Top 3 vocals according to Simon. Brooke looked fugly today But nice song. I loved it ever since I heard it in How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days. As for David, good vocals but like Burga, didn't appreciate the tempo.

Like I said, there's something that was shouted at Hernandez yesterday. Whether it had an effect, anyone knows how to check?!

The fact that Kristy could still stay despite sucking so bad means that she has quite a fan base. If she does solidly in the coming weeks, she could be a dark horse but seriously, buck up! Anything will be an improvement from yesterday And why didn't she sing What Goes On (from Rubber Soul)? That sounds more country than any of the other Beatles song.

kobe- doesn't care who goes home because he knows Carly, Brooke, Jason (or rocker nurse), the two Davids and Michael will be in the top six. 

Actually she was pretty good. It was a bona fide Americana song, which I dont really mind (though when Ryan announced it I thought she was going to sing the even more awesome God Bless America song instead...which unfortunately is a 1918 piece)

KLC has a good back story - selling the pony to get to the Finals but nothing more.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Backstage meddling has caught up "American Idol" favorite David Archuleta's dad, who's been banned from rehearsals, a person working for the TV talent contest said Friday.

Jeff Archuleta was told this week by producers that he can no longer join 17-year-old son as David as he prepares for the show, the person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. The person wasn't authorized to comment publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The show's action was first reported Friday by the online Web site TMZ.

David Archuleta of Murray, Utah, is one of three contestants left as the top-rated Fox show heads toward the Jan. 20-21 finale. The fresh-faced teenager with the big voice has consistently been deemed a front-runner by the judges and been a consistent fan favorite.

Jeff Archuleta's intense backstage involvement had become a source of concern for the series, the person connected with "American Idol" said -- but it was a lyric change on Tuesday's show that pushed producers to act.

Despite a warning, Jeff Archuleta insisted on altering "Stand by Me," one of two songs his son sang on the show Tuesday. By adding a verse from Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls," the father incurred additional costs for "American Idol," the person said.

Fox declined comment. Attempts to reach Jeff Archuleta for comment were unsuccessful. A phone number listed under his name in Murray, Utah, was no longer in service, and Fox did not immediately respond to a request Friday evening for help in contacting the family.

Earlier Friday, David Archuleta was honored at a hometown celebration held at his high school in Murray, during which Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman declared "David Archuleta Day."

The singer and his family declined to be interviewed at the event, but David Archuleta did speak with the Salt Lake City Fox affiliate, KSTU-TV. "Wow," he exclaimed as he viewed the cheerleading squad outside his stretch limousine.

The other finalists left in competition for the "Idol" title and a record contract are David Cook and Syesha Mercado. Cook, a native of suburban Blue Springs, Mo., had his own homecoming celebration Friday in Kansas City, while Mercado was feted Bradenton, Fla.
