ya lor... & it should be safer compared to shares.

S'porean is eligible to use their CPF money to invest in stocks but it's very risky because if they lose the money, all their retirement savings is gone.

ya, but i think they can only retrieve half of the CPF if not mistaken.
in fact they can do almost anything to their CPF money like purchasing a HDB flat, maternity expenses & etc.
very interesting indeed.

They can use 35% to buy share, subjected to deductible of minimum $20k in their OA account (our account 1).
House also got limit, limit to the purchase price or 100+% if they have the minimum amount in their OA + SA + MA accounts ($100+ks).

Yes... but u must have atleast minimum of RM29k of EPF to invest in the mutual fund.
However M'sian still cannot retrieve the money before retiring, unlike lucky S'porean wink.gif
But it's a good sense if we think the other way round.
Some retired S'porean suffered because they spent most of their EPF money. tongue.gif
