I pre-ordered Beowulf from UK Amazon, using standard airmail.
Best thing is, there is no per shipment (or delivery, what the Brits call it instead), only per title. So you don't have to order so many at once to get one shipment. Also no VAT. £15.30 + £3.54 = £18.84 So, the current rate is 6.3 (last year at this time was 7.0, phew!), I have to pay about RM119. Not bad considering the currency. |

QUOTE(aiman04 @ Feb 8 2008, 11:29 PM) I can't really say confirm, but I've reading around the net that all Warner releases in UK is region free. no need to cancel, buy UK BD player la I still have time until March 17, if by that time I can't confirm the Region coding, I can still cancel the order. I Am Legend Gets Detailed Warner Home Video has revealed specifications and extra features for the Blu-ray release of 'I Am Legend', which is set to be released March 18th, day-and-date with the DVD. The disc will contain two versions of the film - the theatrical cut and an alternate theatrical version with a controversial alternate ending. Video will be presented in 2.40:1 1080p VC-1 and accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack . Extra include the Blu-ray exclusive "Creating I Am Legend Minidocumentary Gallery" and "Cautionary Tale: The Science of I Am Legend", both in stunning high definition. Also included will be the four animated comics 'Death As A Gift', 'Isolation', 'Sacrificing the Few for the Many' and 'Shelter', all presented exclusively in high definition on the Blu-ray release ![]() |

QUOTE(zio @ Feb 11 2008, 10:29 AM) Just got my Planet Earth during CNY and for those who is wondering if its worth the price, don't think anymore. I already watched some episodes on 720p MKV format, and I agree. Its an awesome documentary. All my relatives were practically glued to the TV watching it. Waiting for the price to drop to below $50. It was around $44 once at the hi-def promotion, but I was stupid not to buy it at that time... |
