Halor, guys.

my family member is going to expand as 3 more rabbits is going to join my family.
i'm very excited and at the same time very nervous.
i've being lurking in this thread for sometimes and reading the articel from time to time.
somehow, there are just too many article and details that i need to look at.
i scare that later i will be a bad rabbit owner and may lead to the rabbits' death

any advice that is necessary for me to know?
the rabbit is 2 month going 3 month.
what are the thing that i need and the issues that i have to look after off.

i plan to have the rabbit nerfed and spayed at the age of 6 month.
currently, i'm living in kelana jaya.
is there any place nearby that i can get a vet help or supply?

i'm totally new to rabbit and i wan to be a good friend of them.
i've already print may thing and paste it around my room but i scare i still forget some essential point.

Thanks,

Regards,
ADRIEL

halor, guys.
i just got 3 rabbits and they are very cute.
don know what they breed also.
at first they are like so scare and gather at one corner and not moving.

then i don kacau them and do my stuff.
after like 1-2 hours later, they start moving and jumping around in the cage. hahaha

currently, i'm feeding them timothy hay and pellets nia. is it ok?
i can't find the alfafa hay. all of them are 2months old.
plan to deworm them this saturday and maybe when they are 6-7 months old, wan to neuter or spay them.

thanks for all the advice.

just wondering, how you guy teach the bunnies how to poop?
i got read some page but din see any info about it.

my bunnies like to eat all the time and poop all the times.
they eat while they poop and they poop while they eat.
they eat and poop and they poop and eat.
one night nia the bedding got so many poops liaw.
i read on the first post that they must have unlimited access to clean water, hay and pellets.

thanks for the guide.

jaswwp, i follow your guide and remove the bedding.
YEAH, they did not poop and pee on the outside. rclxm9.gif
but instead they poop and pee in their food bowl. rclxub.gif

i think i just let them have the bedding.
i don wan to eat my meal with poop and pee. doh.gif

i think the rabbit like ppl to massage their ears.
when i rub their ears, they will stay very calm and sometimes even close their eyes.
don know i perasan or what. hahaha

NO NO...you guys got the wrong message. Do you know what is SPLAYED LEGS?

I don't mean to say trim the FUR. With or without fur also will get SPLAYED LEGS if they walk too much on slippery floor.....

Here's the link:

http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/Bone_diseases...ic/splayleg.PDF
*

OMG, if that is true than one of my rabbits is already like that. cry.gif
everytime i saw his leg like that, i push the limp in and scold him, "don put your leg like that. very impolite"

i think i better go for an x-ray. but he is just 2 going 3 months old.

I do not blame you. A lot of people also like you do not know of such thing that exist. I am seeing this problem in a lot of local rabbits recently. So, you have to make sure if your rabbit has got this problem, do not breed it. It is hereditary.
*
he become splayed because of me or it is like that when he is born?
if it is because of me, i will feel so bad.

actually, it is true. before i adopted the rabbit, i read a lot about the rabbit, their food, bedding, habit, behaviour,
of course, also the rabbit diseases but none explain or even mentioned about the splayed legs.
maybe i din read that much or i missed.
thanks for pointing it up before it get worse.
is there anything i can do? from your post, it stated that there is nth we can do about it.

i don think i causes it coz the rabbit only 3 days in my house and out of the cage not more than 24 hours.
i think i'll just pay more attention to that particular rabbit.
when they are old enough, i will spay and neuter all the rabbits.

poor creature.

"Show Rabbit Feed" just arrived on Sunday. All my rabbits adapt to this new feed just in a day.
*
sorry for this stupid question but what is show rabbit feed?
is this some kind of rabbits' food or a show on how to feed rabbits?

anyway, just curious, how long does it take for you guyz to change the bedding for your rabbits?
i need to change it twice every 3 days. is it too often?
not that i like to change it but the whole place is full of their poop and pee.
so no choice but to change it.
