IMHO

I read almost all of u guys comment..

I kinda make some conclusion..

we actually alter them SO WE CAN FEEL CONVENIENT?

they won't be aggresive, bite, spraying their pee...

what about the Rabbit? s/he want it or not actually?

If I'm a rabbit..I prefer to be lock in cage for forever rather than being altered..

you have a very very wrong idea and concept about spaying and neuter.
we do it not for our own convenient although it does help us in the future.
spaying cost money, after medication and extra care during the recovery.

it is for their own good. since you only have one female rabbit,
i think it is still ok although there is a high risk of getting cancer in the future.

my bambi is a female 4 months plus old and she is getting very aggresive recently.
if you read my post before i did mentioned that she bite my hand and attacked me until bleeding.
her hormones is rushing and she even attacked my other rabbits, sissy and snowie.

sissy is male and he is getting aggresive also. he like bambi but bambi don like him.
snowie on the other hand like sissy but sissy don like her.
so he will attack her sometimes.

how i resolve it? cage them in 3 different cages. and they feel lonely. sad.gif
rabbits are very socialable animal by nature, unless during mating season where all animals get a bit tension and aggresive.
they like to keep company and play around.
when i let them out, they will come close to me, but don allow me to touch them especially bambi.
they will make growling sound and "paddle" my hand off.
when they see other rabbits get close to me, they will fight them off, bambi and snowie case.

i decided to spay and neuter my rabbit not for my own convenience. it is for their own good.
first health and second social life.

since you take your own example as rabbit, now we shift place.
make the rabbit a human, do you like to become someone that get locked in a house and never have any boyfriend and girlfriend?
never married and have kids? and end up having prostate cancer?
better have it cut off and live a longer life. (i wonder if this is the main reason why last time eunuch life so long until some can serve 2 emperor)

or do you wan to be lock inside a room and getting rape over and over by a physco rapist?
if you are male, you probably will feel happy but what if you are the female?
you may end up with trauma and phobia.
also, animal don mate because they are having fun, they just mate due to instinct.

i gave a very weird example. i hope you understand me. hahaha.

yeah, just like what bebee say.
a few more monthS and you will know why bambi attacked me.
they either grow very fond of you (which mean they wan to mate with you)
or they turn to hate you (which mean they wan to look for another mate).

i'm not trying to scare you or joke around.
your rabbit might turn out differently but in my case, they take me offensively.

hello, guyz.
i have this stupid question.
did any of you chain or tie you rabbits?
the reason i asked this is because i wan to bring my bunnies to a nearby park.
and let them roam free while i do my jogging there.
but the problem is i scare they will run away and i will have hard time catching then back.
i was thinking of maybe tie them to a rope.
anyone have better suggestion.
currently, they are playing in my house.
so first time in the park should be fun to them.

the park is crowded sometimes.
most people bring their pets over their and walk with their pets.
i have hard time catching my rabbits out everytimes i let them out.
take me around 1 hours to catch them back into the home.

i saw some rabbits collar at the pet safari.
so i was wondering is it a good idea to get it.
actually i wan them to have bigger place to play with.
something like the can run really fast and jump very high.
my snowie like to do that. run very fast and then suddenly jump very high and make a twist in the air.
sometimes she bump into the door, and sometimes land on the floor with a *buk* sound.

i have to cover my fish pond to prevent them from terjun into the pond.

i like it when i saw them jump like very happy and having fun themselves.
but sometimes the way they play make me worry.
i scare they hurt themselves.
the jumping and the bumping and the spinning is cool.
but i scare they bump themselves so hard until got wound.
that's why i wan to bring them to park. in that case at least i don wan to worry that they will land on something hard.
furthermore, they maybe can have more fun in the park.

hahaha, i was thinking about the same things.
yeah, they have a very fragile bones.
my sis say we make a shirt for them.
then tie a rope to the shirt intead of using the collar.

err, 11Jan, do you have any idea where i can get the thing that you posted?

quite busy this few days and with the oil price hike,
i'm trying my very best not to go out if it is not required. hahaha.

now that you mention it, maybe i should ask opinion from those who let their bunnies to play in the park.
yeah, right. those dirt and mites might be a problem.
