The guy is my friend, he is my neighbour, selling toys. I have gone out during that time. What type of hay you are looking to? All types of hay that i have is at my stall. Welcome again.. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
emm, i was looking for alfafa but bigger one.
at that time only got small package nia.
i got 3 rabbit and there eat like african child.
1KG can finish in like 1.++ week.

just wondering, have you guy being to the animal clinic in subang jaya.
the one supervise by Dr. G. Baskaran in SS14/2.
i went there back few weeks ago to have my rabbits dewormed.

so when i first enter, (i was looking for subang animal clinic but went sesat and end up there)
i ask him, did he knew how to deworms a rabbit. he say yes.
then i proceed by how many he has deworm before which is the wrong question to him.
(i was just following the first page guide sad.gif )
i guess that question offended him. he then told me he was a vet long before i was born.
i was like sweat.gif
he say then number is more then my age times 2.
my sister try to break the commotion and make a joke, will it be more then both of our age times 2.
he say, "make a guess" =.='''

anyway, he did deworms my rabbit and quite professional.
he teach me quite a few term.
i ask him did he help to clean the rabbit, but he say rabbits we don use the term clean, we use groom.
i think i will spay and neuter my rabbits there in the future. hahaha.

well, her condition is quite stable as for now.
occasionally she does attack me.
i'm not sure if she is getting into the breeding season but they are just 3 months old.
i'm still waiting for them to get a bit mature before having them neuter and spayed.
have any of you experience early mature?

if i got time, will post more pic tomorrow if they post nicely.

My female rabbit was aggressive by the time she was 3 months plus. She wasn't aggressive to us humans, but she was very aggressive to a male rabbit which i got to be her companion. They have since been spayed and neutered, and now live together in peace  smile.gif
*
how old are they when you spay and neuter them?
i heard that they must be at least 6 months old.

bambi like to stick with me as when she is with me, sissy won't go lape her.
i will push sissy away and sissy don like me go near him.
but when i touch bambi, she will make the growling sound and occasionally attack me.

males can be neutered once their testicles descend, but i suggest you wait until at least 5mths old. Females can be spayed after 6mths old. In my case, my male was neutered at 6mths, female spayed at 7mths.

Sissy is male? Male rabbits can be fertile from as early as 3mths, so you may need to separate your rabbits according to their gender to avoid accidental pregnancies.
*
yeah, sissy is a male. bambi and snowie are female.
wah, separate ka? then i need to buy a full whole set including cage again.
i thought of going to vet and ask them can spay or not.
hahaha.

seems like you have some really health conscious rabbits there lol! let them be, a rabbit's diet should consist mainly of hay (lots of it!), supplemented by pellets and vege. if they don't get treats, no problem there.. even better for them  smile.gif
well, at least that one save me some budget. hahaha

anyway, did any of you buy the calcium block?
i always saw it in the pet shop but never bought it.

anyone here have any idea where to buy those wired metal fence?
i intend to build one cage for my bunny.
soon the cage they're using now will be too small for them.

so i was planning to build one instead of buying one from the pet shop.
main reason is i don like most of the design.
any idea where to get it around kelana jaya?
i asked the pet family and pet safari. they don have it.

it seems like the cage is tied up with some plastic.

my sissy and bambi like to chew everything around them.
but i like it as it will be very easy to customize and look very nice.

@beardiekid : you might wan to check it up. your bunny may having mites.
i'm not sure. try to see the symptoms of mites.

i think the best question to ask here is why would you wan to breed your rabbits?
To get more rabbits? Or do you wan to open up a rabbit breeding farm like beh?

If money is your concern then it is understandable though it is relatively cheap.

if you think that letting them breed is equal to love, then you are wrong here.
in animals kingdom, there are only 2 animals that make love because of love and affinity towards each other.
Human and dolphin. Other than that, they just act base on their instinct. It has nothing to do with love or whatsoever.
This is what I get from internet and may need clarification here.

I’m not sure about spaying and neuter has anything to do with the marketing or not.
But scientifically, it help to remove the reproductive cancers; mostly uterine and mammary cancers.

My rabbits is 4 months old and I plan to have them all 3 spayed and neutered.
Still looking for a good vet around kelana jaya. They are getting very aggressive and sometimes will attack me.
I also need to separate the male and the female to prevent accident happen.
Though that is the real cruel but I know it is best for them for the time being.
At least they get to meet each other everyday for certain duration of times.

nicoty_yne, don have. Yesterday go to ikea and pet safari liaw.
Don have. Which Carrefour have? Near or not to the kelana jaya?
