You can feed them either pellet or hay(obviously), but if they are below 6 months avoid giving them vegetables or fruits. Those are to be given when they are older and their tummy is more resistance. The first page of this thread describes the diet well.
I'm currently feeding my 6 month old bunny timothy hay i got from Midvalley's PetWonderland in KL. a bit pricey though but cant seem to find anywhere in Penang that sells fresh green hay. another rabbit i got (3 months old), i feed some cheap alfafa i bought from the local store (TOBY). Both rabbits get their pellets once a day.
Not really sure the difference between good and bad pellet so i just buy whichever one i like when going shopping.
What about you...what do YOU feed your bunny?
Of cause there is BIG difference!

What make a good pellet IS, the ingredient of cause, secondly is
WHAT DOES NOT PUT IN TO making pellet. Personally, I always not encourage people to use local make rabbit pellet due to the content of the ingredient is really hv many JUNK.If you use imported pellet, there is many to choose as well, look for something really good for your PET beside considering the price. Just dont buy pellet is full of junk.
I believe you had read about using timothy base pellet and alfalfa base pellet, go for your rabbit's health condition. Alfalfa base pellet is definately smell more delicious to the rabbit then timothy.
