any rabbit for adoption, guys? i' desperately looking for lionhead rabbit that's almost look like mine? i lost mine last week.. where can i find them in penang area? i looked everywhere (all pet shop i know in penang).. but cudnt find lionhead..

Is there anything else we can do to help the mum rabbit (to keep her baby alive)? btw, what type of breed is ur bunny, bebee?

i wasnt really 'fed' him wit chocolate.. but everytime i opened the package, he will come and sniff.. and begging.. i gave him a small piece.. lebih kurang secubit la not everyday.. ask my vet aredi.. My vet said, it small amount, can.. just to persuade him to come out from his hiding place..

He died bcoz of emphysema.. the vet said, maybe he had been bitten by insect ke ape ke.. coz this disease was very rare.. kalau ada pun, it attact in a farm.. n normally it will attack cows n pigs..

But the vet cudnt save him bcoz at that moment, he was just recovered from pappiloma removal. And a few days after the removal, he had an pus (at his cheek) removal. During that moment, the vet aredi gave some antibiotic jabs.. and he was waiting for xray procedure bcoz the vet said he might had a jaw abscess...

But suddenly he was attack by that disease (caused by a bacteria).. so vet cannot give any antibiotic more that wat he aredi gave..afraid it might kills the potential bacteria.. The emphysema bacteria kept spreading in his blood.. so, he died b'coz of that bad bacteria...

But, i think u shudnt put it on the grill.. shud put something as the floor cover to protect the feet.. such as vynil (tikar getah) rugs etc.. but make sure it wont chewing the floor cover.. U can also try to find a rabbit socks it there's any to cover the feet..

After my nino died, i'm really afraid to have a new bunny.. afraid they might face the same condition as nino.. so i asked my vet - if there any vaccin for rabbit to avoid certain disease.. he said, got.. but we have to send them for vaccin only after they reach 4months age..

And one more question.. any of u have sent ur bunny for neutering/spaying? Is there any alternative to avoid them for breeding? Such as injection (cats do have injection if u dont want to put them under anasthetic n undergo the removal operation..)

u spayed u females? i'm afraid to put them on the operation table.. afraid might risk their life.. btw, how old are them when u sent them for spaying?

Added on February 26, 2008, 9:45 amu can make a survey. but make sure u find a very gud vet who experience a lot in neutering / spaying bunny.. i heard some vet charge about RM180-200..
