QUOTE(twhong_91 @ Jul 13 2014, 11:09 PM) lousy platform, try other alternatives, such as hlebroking. i have been using it since 2011 and no problem at all. OOh...Lousy as in how? Not user friendly? I'm considering between Maybank, RHB and CIMB ITrade actually. But might explore HLEbroking too.

I have a question.
Lets say I'm holding 2 share.
Share A - RM10k Share B - Margin 5k due on today (T+3)
If I sell all my share A today, are they still going to force sell my share B tomorrow?

if i were to enter a BUY queue at RM1.20, will i get the stock at the price of RM1.05 or am I paying RM1.20?

dear sifus,
when you looking at share price performance for past 5 years, and when the shares outstanding is fluctuating by huge amount (say 30%) each year due to rights/bonus issue, it is logic to look at market cap growth per year instead of share price growth per year?

Also look at the P/L of the company

QUOTE(equitybeginner @ Jul 14 2014, 10:40 AM) hello bro&sis, i have doubt here lah, i hold this share for a dividend till the ex date...however till now i dont get any pay for the dividend. why ya? Single tier final dividend of 2%. Kindly be advised of the following : 1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted [ "Ex - Dividend" ] as from : [ 8 May 2014 ] 2) The last date of lodgement : [ 12 May 2014 ] 3) Date Payable : [ 21 May 2014 ] Nowadays most dividend will be banked in directly to your designated bank account, pls check your bank statement and see whether the dividend is credited in or not If no then you have to check with the registrar and inform them that you have yet to receive the dividend

QUOTE(prudence18 @ Aug 6 2014, 07:04 PM) Hi guys I'm new here. Would like to open a CDS account. What are the required documents? Which is the preferred bank to open? Cimb , may bank etc? I just registered an acc with SJ Securities through my wife. You need to provide a copy of IC, a letter from the bank stating you have an account at the bank (example: you have a maybank account, go to the branch a request a letter with maybank letterhead, stating you have an account with maybank) and RM10. Not sure with other places. Just starting to learn.
