Hi Sifus,
I would like to ask about the transaction charges on selling share.
As far as I know, it should just include a) brokerage fee b) stamp duty c) clearing free.
based on http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=26100183

But from the picture attached, it kinds of confused me. Because it seems like different from what I calculated.

Lets say I going to sell my share at rm2.91 ( as shown in pic), the transaction involved should be as below:

a) as my brokerage firm charge 0.38% or rm12 min

rm 2.91 X 1000 share = rm 2910
rm 2910 x 0.38 % = rm 11.02 , since lower than rm12, my brokerage should be rm12 instead.

b) since rm 2910 < 3k, my stamp duty is rm3

c) clearing fee is 0.03% right?

rm 2910 x 0.03% = rm 0.87

SO, the total charges, should be rm 12 + 3 + 0.87 = rm 15.87

but the overhead showed in the pic is rm 24.25.

and the money I get after I sell should be rm 2910 - rm 15.87 = rm 2894.13.

but why it shows rm 2885.75 in the pic?

Is there any hidden charges here? if yes, what is it?

Can someone enlighten me please? I'm new to stock trading. >.<

I have a question.

Lets say I'm holding 2 share.

Share A - RM10k
Share B - Margin 5k due on today (T+3)

If I sell all my share A today, are they still going to force sell my share B tomorrow?
