QUOTE(cherroy @ May 6 2010, 12:38 AM) Some listed company got periodically analyst briefing which is part of company transparancy and effort to win or attract investors especially for large instituitional investors. There is no such thing of negative PE. If company is not making any profit aka loss, then there shouldn't be any PE at all. Putting a negative PE is somehow not right, should just blank the PE part. Customers somehow a more confidential issue, but cashflow statement (overall) is available on the financial report so does debt which appeal in the company balance sheet. Cashflow statement is one of most important factor which investors should be aware of. so how can i get financial report of specific company , is it available on bursa website? Added on May 6, 2010, 6:25 pmmay i know wat is ACE market? This post has been edited by qingweibuaya: May 6 2010, 06:25 PM

Yes, it is available in Bursa wesbite as well as most listed comopany got their own website publishing it. ACE market is renamed from Mesdaq market, which listing requirement is more 'relaxed' as compared to main market.

Some are basic and some are for passing the exams . Does have Investment Talks either in house from from third parties . Nice and relaxing facilities, and cheap foods too ( from their Canteen ) This post has been edited by SKY 1809: May 7 2010, 12:50 AM

I just transferred all my shares from HWANG DBS TO CIMB recently. I was wondering is there any possibility that my shares was being transferred to third party without my knowledge?

I was wondering is there any possibility that my shares was being transferred to third party without my knowledge? Bursa doesn't allow share being transferred to third party. End of story. They only allow share being transferred within family members which you need to prove it. The only way share being transferred to third party is through KLSE/Bursa trading system and off-market deal or the way that Bursa fully aware there is transaction is going on. So even you and your friend make a deal to sell off your share to him/her privately, the share cannot be transferred at all, so no go. You successful transfer your share to different broker house because it is under the same name/owner. This post has been edited by cherroy: May 12 2010, 12:37 AM

hi wanna ask the following:
how do we calculate the following: 1. Final ordinary dividend of 5% per share of RM0.20 each less tax at 25% 2. Special dividend of 2% per share of RM0.20 each less tax at 25%
1A does that mean once we get 1 we wil not be getting any dividend until the next financial year?
2A giving free shares and dividend, which is better?
3A 红股 in english is what?
4A is it when a company has issued a NOTICE OF BOOK CLOSURE that would mean is about time to give dividend?
5A can i say In-dividend & Ex-dividend technically are the same (alth i know it differentiate the entitlement of dividend). I am saying it same because even if we buy ex-dividend counter, the price will deduct the dividend allocated. so technically we suffer no lost even we buy at ex0dividend date. correct?
cheers
