Have been observing your FSes.. it makes me wonder if there's a difference between FSes in SG and Malaysia cause the breed might be different....huh...
One of these days should organize a trip to Malaysia for hunts, feeling might be different...hahaha...

Bro Viper, i agreed with you, with commercialization everywhere in SG and in Malaysia, very soon there will be fewer places for FS to survive. Look at the amt of land that's cleared for the 2 casinos...
Also looking at the increase numbers of FS hunters... and death fights, most might fear the worst for them.... so maybe the FS hunters here can also catch some females and pair them with your good fighters and like what Viper said, they will reproduce more and better quality FS so that we can enjoy this hobby for many years to come.... Usually i'll bring some females back home to pair up and some bros here saw my containers always have a female inside... but have to be fast to release the pregnant ones back to the wild cause if too late, you will see eggs in the container... haha..

They usually fed their FSes with flies and they also encounter mysterious deaths...
Or maybe need to pair with a female? kept one FS (Smash) for over a month liao, so far still very heathy.. fed with crickets and pair with female also...

Ya Bro, that was the "highlight" of a bad miss man... saw the face all white when i open the leaves, confirm male, somemore got size and "orh orh", really cant see any color on him...!Was looking at him for some time before i "action" and what a waste man..! Didn't know there is a branch behind and was "pushed" off when i draw the leave towards me, tot i had him...haiz... anyway yesterday was alot of fun and alot of matches, pity didn't video all of them cause guess all of us were too excited... Robocop vs Caca, then Robocop vs Aris, very impressive fights for Robocop, gues next time is Aris vs Terminator...haha..
Carnage also had a piece of action with Kenz's Blackie (right?), Carnage was injured on his back leg but luckily never drop off...phew... Some updates from Aris (Sup Pao), place a female with him but see he like "dont know how the approach the female", seems very impatience and at one instance almost "sup" the female...! Guess its quite difficult to find him a mate...

Yo Bro, i'm no expert, just my 5 cents worth, think FS are really smart jewels of nature, the more they fight, the better they become, like gaining experience and becoming more confident in their fights. If you match them with a Sup pao, if they survive, usually they will fight like them...and also good food and rest them well..

Ya.. think this is the better video i'm referring to, they chop, fight and rested...then chop and fight again.... impressive...this makes me think your FS are actually quite huge cause usually bigger FSes have better will power when fighting, the bigger sizes we have here think is ard 8-9mm, how big is yours?

Yo yo yo Broz... sorry for the very late update man...!Was thinking of updating yesterday but too shag liaoz... cause yesterday walked almost 2-3km inside the Bt Panjang forest area...! Will update later.


The past 2 days didn't really catch any FSes but we still manage to record and match a few fights to share with all the bros here who missed the outing with us...
Saturday's Hunt:

Here's the update on Saturday's hunt, went Yishun and i caught one normal fighter + Sup pao(Named him Speed, cause he very fast) and ksiao was very lucky to caught his Sup pao when we return back after the rain (was raining suddenly while hunting) for a short hunt before meeting Bro Ken25, his Terror was strolling and ksiao found him...

and Bro Kenz, realised that day Terminator actually fought a few more matches with other FSes before his match against Robocop and he still can fight so well! You really took very good care of them man.... Kudos!

Yo broz, i'm using Panasonic Lumix 10mpix, i set the function to macro for filming, dont know if its because of this...but glad everyone still okie with the quality...

Anyway, here's the 2nd installment of updates (sorry have to spill over a few days cause i usually return home quite late)


Sunday:

Went Bt Panjang park with Bro Ken25, later joined by Koppao and Kenz but before meeting them, both me and Ken25 drove ard the Bt Panjang area. Can see alot of vegetation but couldn't find the way in so Bro Kenz stopped at the express way shoulder and i took off and jumped over the railing into the forest...hahaha... really fun, trying to find new spots for hunts! both of us didn't know where that path would lead me to but what the hack! Luckily saw some cyclists and asked my way out and found out from them, one end of the path leads to Bt Panjang while the other to Mandai and which ever way i took would be 2-3km! Suddenly abit regret cause realised i didn't bring my wallet with me! but fortunately still keep contact with Bro Ken25 and man... was i glad to see him when he appeared before me! and he even brought drinks with him! thanks bro!

Here're some of the pics i took, that path have nothing but CB...! and along the way i manage to find some FSes but mostly Bu! Caught one s-m size male FS and brought back with me.










That could be our next hunt...but no guarantee have big ones...can try try...

Anyway finally found our way back to Bt Panjang park where we wait for Bro Koppao (bro Kenz joined later) and he arrived, he noticed that the small patch of Lily at the carpark have FSes! OMG! of all places right in front of us! and we started the hunt, really found alot of BUs and some males, caught some of them and here are the vids, mostly s-m sizes but they did put up great fights!

Anyway some updates guys...today sad day for me also... Aris RIP already...guess he is too old already, his movements are terribly slow and he also can seem to eat his food... lucky he managed to mate with 2 females, released them already, hopefully they can lay eggs and the Slings can grow up...

One of my Sup pao (Midnight) also RIP, didn't know what happen, just died... regret never record his fights and pics.... BKE also just drown... went to the basin to clean his container but he jump straight into the basin when i open the cover.... sianz...lucky have his vids to remember him...

This was the final fight for Chilli Padi, he had fought well and hard, never give up, he won the match but for some reasons, he didn't make it after the fight and passed on after an hour...Kudos to him.

We also tested out on some new caught FS with Edwin's Spar, even his Spar is good fighter man....!

Later before we ended the day, Bro Ken25 "suddenly" fished out some FSes which he brought along from his pots outside his house and man...they were huge! Tested them with most of my Sup paos...and really regret man! Fought 6-7 matches and lost most of the fights!! Wa... he actually no need to go hunting outside...hahaha... he can just hunt at his pots.... his FSes are big and powerful....Think almost the size of Robo...!

Managed to film one of the fights between fair fighters, luckily that day still got win one match...phew....

As for the wild boar trap, thanks for highlighting man... its crazy... how come anyone use this kinda thing...? it could have been a person caught by the trap but its still saddening that the poor dog had to amputate its leg...
Broz, pls be careful and be watchful of things on the ground...

Shared the same sentiments.... was quite shock to see the instance when Termy was bitting hard on Robo's head... Termy is not some FS that can be taken lightly. My guess is that when FSes fight, it may be quite tiring and exhausting for them so resting them is quite crucial for their survival...

Noticed the weather is really getting wet nowadays, guess may be quite tough for hunting till the rainy season is over....

Bad news for me...both Carnage and Kairo shows the "symptoms" of wiping its legs and fangs non-stop and cant really cling onto the container surface....although....they're still eating but guess quite difficult for them liaoz...

So sorry to hear that bro...man...that was so unfortunate... though your set up was very cool... but the stupid insecticides.... RIP Kenzo...

And my other fighters also show symptons of dragging (but not so serious as compared with Carnage and Hellfire)... must be the leaves which i pluck to change.... now recall getting leaves from some non-FS habitat places... should have guessed why there is no FS..... especially nowdays when the wet season is approaching and NEA ppl go ard cutting leaves and fogging..... Guys... becareful when you pluck leaves to change cause might have pesticides....

i.e 1. Heavyweight (L size)

4. Light weight (S-m size)
5. Feather weight (S -size)

name and category can change to our likings then film all matches, can invite some broz (maybe 3?) to do judging for the sizes (sizes does matters here) and referee? then we can have a gathering session for all broz...!
