It actually depends on the engine's wear-and-tear. Older engine usually use mineral oil, so that when the engine starts "eating" the oil, it will be cheaper to replace.
One differences is for vehicles that was converted to NGV. Once converted, you only need to use mineral because the engine is cleaner when compare NGV-petrol vs pure-petrol. QUOTE(chitchat @ May 23 2008, 01:11 PM) i service my car at Mutiara Damansara Platinum Service Center and are using mineral oil, i wanted to use fully or semi sync because i thought is better but they told me campro engine need to use mineral so the engine is quieter. How truth is this ? I recommend pure black, with car-background of red/orange fire symbols throughout the car. QUOTE(Blue_Diamond @ May 23 2008, 02:32 PM) |

Guys,
I'm getting fed up with $100 for 320km It seems that most driver here aims for the following "enhancement" that somehow improves the liter-per-km usage: Change extractor Change muffler Change snorker Change the mid-bullet(?) Change air filter My question is that arnt those part of performance enhancement kit? What I know is performance enhancement = more fuel usage but better performance. am i wrong? Assuming that i'm going for those enhancement, any suggestion for the exhaust and mid-body.. i'm targeting to have a comfort (plus noiseless) and low rpm driving as I dont normally push my RPM beyond 3000 (99% city driving). 4-2-1 extractor, S-flow shazmn's "extra mid body = what type is prefered? |

So, for my case.... just changing into a 4-2-1 extractor (and temporily igoring the mid-body and s-flow) and getting a better air-inlet mecha, would i still be able to push to bout $100-for-400km?
or since i'm 99% city driver, i can ignore the extractor as well (no use to convert due to the "constant" jam in kl)? lastly, mid body = s-flow? (not refering to brand, but type) if want quiet, can get those exhaust that have 2 hole (oo) type like found in mazda car? i don wan those "tembak-bulan" type or those noisy type.. |

But it would be nice to actually stop seeing our headlight dim each time our air-cond fan kicks in ...
QUOTE(rcracer @ Jul 22 2008, 05:06 PM) Auto or manual?, Auto is no hope already too much loss in the torque converter. One more thing you can try is a lighten crank pulley, not CAM pulley but CRANK pulley. I wouldn't believe the figures for the voltage stabilizer claim at all 15% increase on our standard 100 hp on wheel for manual is an extra 15HP, which is if you think about it really stupid. If it was that simple car makers just have to make a small engine and stick a china made VS and save all that billions on R&D for power and efficiency |

If ppl sit and piss in your car, then can save the seat.
