QUOTE(kulaan @ Mar 29 2008, 05:59 AM)
yesterday i already do my first tuning to my car due to high FC. they charge me RM171 for servicing throttle body, plug, petrol filter + labour. Mechanic told me its normal to do tuning when ur car meter clock to 35K+++ ... You can feel the difference after tuning like more smooth, pick-up and reasonable FC. Before this if i pump with RM20, next day i must fill up again going to office.  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Difficult to say what it is, it could also mean angle position sensor a.k.a crank angle sensor, which some guys who had the broken crankshaft said was one of the symptoms before the crankshaft broke. What is the mileage of your car?

Point to ponder:
Gen-2 auto transmission auto shift down; is it controlled by the ECU or is it the gearbox? hmm.gif

If I want to change the shift down to a "less sensitive" version, should I change the ECU or change the gearbox? hmm.gif

p/s: forgot that this is an out-dated issue. sorry .... doh.gif

If not mistaken, someone has these type of problem before.

It has something to do with the engine remains "above average" in term of hot-ness (blush.gif) even after you turn the engine off. The fan (not sure which one) and 1 other items will remain circulating for a short period of time.

Try browsing within Gen-2 topic, that is where I heard of this before.

edit:

Paul Tan website - Use control-Find to trim pass comments

It is good that the fan is on even after the engine is off to cool off the engine

Come to think of it, I think mine also have. Does it include the tick-tick-tick sound that come from "behind" the dashboard after you turn the engine off? Or do you need to physically open the bonnet and check if the fan is still running?

Lastly, how do we check it? if revving the engine is the only way, i rather pass ; petrol price is expensive

Dexter,

I think that you can "custom" add it to your car, flex.gif ... any sifu here can confirm? tongue.gif

QUOTE(-dexter- @ May 12 2008, 05:02 PM)
i hoped my car's fan will circulated to cool off engine also..but my batch dont have

Snorkel is cheap... If you want can buy a few and keep as spare tongue.gif.

For the shacking of steering, maybe it is due to the engine mount? ... or wheel balancing ? ...

QUOTE(-dexter- @ May 14 2008, 09:01 AM)
so that leads to me have to spend another 80bucks to buy snorkel from Jenal.. shakehead.gif

btw u got any ideas why my steering vibrates/shakes when i hit 150-160?

lately only got this effect...before this dont have also...anybody?
