just got my p1 last week..my firmware is the ori p1 one (r6d23 and r6e30). CDA was CDA is CDA162024/66 R2A, CDA162024/95 R5A...got 2 CDA, i oso dunou y..but based on the second CDA, it's a sg FW rite?.i wanna update it to the newest firmware ,..but the thing is my firmware had already chinese recognition installed, and i wan it to continue havin chinese in after i update it.

Shufflerz told me in page 51 that updating my p1 will not erase away the chinese..

so...i've updated my phone last nite and now the chinese recognition and writing is gone... my CDA now is CDA 162024/66 R5A, phone is CXC 162037 R9005...

can anyone help me to get back my chinese language?????????actually i wanna update it to this version: R6G04 for CDA 95 (Singapore Chinese)

one more thing...if i cant get back my chinese language...anyway to DEGRADE it back to my older version? like erasing the new updates n keeping the previous one?

I dont mind about phone camera la..coz i have my own Sony digicam lo. hehe..as long as the phone wouldnt lag, then everything will be ok for me lo..hehe 

1 - yeah only utz unless u install gedesk, that using gdesk u can load theme under format gdd (gdesk theme format)
2 - the utz file is inside the .zip files.extract the zup files n will get the utz file inside n copy it to ur mobile phones
3 - when phone is off...all functions are off...no alarm..but y do u need to off ur phone?if to avoid unwanted call/sms, b4 u sleep change to flight mode bro...in flight mode the alarm still fucntion...

at VIII, it says turn off ur phone, does this mean after i unplug the phone at VI, i'v eto turn on the phone then turn it off again so i can continue for VIII?

but after i unplug the phone from the usb cable, the phone will auto turn on, load for a bit then shut down again..why does this happen?

after that i tried for the HK FW /74 CDA, tried the first time , updating SEUS time abt 60+% dc, then i unplug the phone n tried to turn on...but cant on ledi...now the phone like flashing flashing the back light only...help!

Wanna ask something. I checked my phone version and its R6F41. I checked the first page of this thread they wrote that there is a newer version but when I try to update, they say my version is the most updated one. How come?

After u finish download from those 2 links, u should have total 5 files as below:

Sans-Serif_Latin-Regular.ttf (2,871 KB)
Sans-Serif_Latin-Italic.ttf (2,871 KB)
Sans-Serif_Latin-Bold.ttf (2,871 KB)
Sans-Serif_Latin- BoldItalic.ttf (2,871 KB)

Sans_Serif_ChinZi_V225.ccc (4,236 KB)

So, here are the steps:

1. Connect your P1 to your PC via file transfer mode.
2. In the root of your M2 stick's assigned drive letter, create a folder named: Resource
3. Now go into Resource folder, and create a subfolder named: Fonts
4. Copy all 5 files into Resource\Fonts folder and reboot the phone.

But chinese fonts in sms all ok de! hehe...

U mean that ah? Haha. easy lo. go to music player -> Setting -> Preference -> Under 'File' tab ->Language. That's it!

Yup, it will drain your battery faster compare to 2G. If you want your battery last longer for every charge and rarely ever use 3G data, you should consider turning off 3G.

Main Menu -> Tools -> Control Panel -> Connections -> Mobile Networks -> More -> GSM/3G Networks -> Tick GSM only

Save and you're done.
