hi all, i check my p1i firmware n it  shows R6F41 ...izizt the latest firmware or i need to flash it again?

If you receive a 2 pages long sms, is it shown as one sms massage or divided into 2?

how bout sending out?

Anyone know how to go to next sms message when we are reading currently sms?
Now I need to close my currently reading sms then only able to open the next sms. Is this the only way to do it?

just got my P1i yesterday.. it was a real ordeal trying to switch/evolve/migrate frm normal keypad messaging to QWERTY... but im tryin my best to get a grip of it! Really miss d-pad navi..
..but hell... this phone roxxxzzz!

saw some at sg wang... very bad craftsmanship and not worth a cent of your money, the good one i saw on the otherhand was straight from one of the SE centers, should be much more expensive but the quality is there.

ok now i got this damn problem.
whenever i use the virtual keyboard (some characters cant be type with the keypad) my phone (hangs) and the only way to recover it is to remove the battery and restart it.
any1 experiencing the same?

I just got this phone on Friday and I have a problem the last 2 days which I did not noticed a day later. When I look at my call  record list, it does not show the caller name or who ever I was calling. Where as the earlier list show the name.

So then when I check the Contact View, I realised that I can't see the SIM Contact at all. After I on and off a few time and taking out the SIM card a few time, it seem to be able to detect my SIM. I swapped with another SIM card and phone, and my SIM card is perfectly fine! I can make call, Web, etc except for this reading my SIM. Luckily I can sync my Outlook Contacts to the P1i so I can still access all my number but this is no fun. Then after a few off and on, my SIM can be read again!

This is frustrating!

BTW, about that black triangle, its meant to be a locator for your handwriting. If you write below that triangle point, it will be lower cap, if you write where the triangle is pointing, its upper cap, if you write above the triangle, it will be numeric.

2ndly, the ALARM does not ring when the phone is off! Is this normal? Its should rang even if the phone is off!

All my contact is in my outlook calendar. I will just default everything to CONTACT folder and no more SIM since its soooo SLLLLLOOOWW and seems to hang..

As for the Alarm I was thinking about that flight mode too. A bit surprised to see that its doesn't work when its off... unlike the previous SE phone that I have k800 which perhaps different from all this symbion P1i.

Overall I'm happy with the phone and you all has been great and helpful. I'm updating the SEUS now.

The one came with the CD in my box is 1.19 if I recalled off hand now.

This phone is like this, i not sure why.
It will continue with the number with the existing file only, it won't continue according to the number of the photo you took.

how long it takes to upgrade FW

My P1i start to have "cracking" sound once i tap on the screen..

any1 knows if there's a way to manually on the photo light at the back without using the camera?

It's an open signed symbian software so you can sign it yourself. You have to have a 'private' email (like your company email) account though. Free email such as Yahoo and Hotmail will be rejected.

tat icon beside the wifi icon u mean? izizt it will blink a while n stop when connection stable? n the globe shows that it connected to wifi (free)?

i also dun understand with p1i wifi..yesterday when i was at kfc, there should be free wifi..at first i can connect n surf the web..after a while, i stop wifi to eat first..afterthat i try conect again..the status is connect, but when come to browser, cannot use internet already..y r?
