P990's little ram and stability issue is not worth it anymore as AP set is just few hundred difference with P1i.
Ori you get top notch warranty service. AP some provide you with 18months warranty now but sometime their service can make you vomit.
go for ori if you can afford it.

the alarm isn't having problem, but it's owner kinda mis-setting and made it didn't rang.i must say the stock alarm function is quite stupid. if you're very dependent on the phone to wake u up / alert you of something, use handy clock. very neat piece of software indeed.

btw, you replacing the phone because of the green tint?

how to check which year the phone is produced? speaking of green tint, i never really did tested out my camera for tat. gonna try it later. the green tint is sensor issue, fw upgrade MIGHT reduce the tint as reported by some, but it is definitely still there

seems to me that with flash on the green tint isn't visible

the photo with flash on has the grey edge cuz i hold the cam too near to the paper

but what we have here is different problem for everyone

that don't really bother me as i have proper digicam and it is not so noticeable when viewed from phone which in most of the case, i keep the photo i take from phone inside phone only.

for me its actually nothing. but i find it annoying when i get reminded i forked out so much money for a phone that take photo with artifacts

try to snap on a piece of white paper instead of light source like monitor?

i sent my bluetooth handsfree for warranty two months ago, they get it done within three days although they said a week to me.

if only i knew which batch is problem free, i would go and bug the supplier of my phone to change it

set it to auto, don on flash, shoot a white paper in normal lightning condition.
anyway it is not really noticeably on the phone screen as it is too small.
