Free for all.... I can't imagine 32 players free for all... HAhahahah! Of cause its a joke but I've heard of 50 players free for all in Shipment. LoL.
Added on January 23, 2008, 4:35 amI just got new info from my other friends who plays CoD4 tournaments but in other countries... He says that 5 vs 5 is best for all maps and all modes. 8 vs 8 is usually for Battlefield. He also says for team voice chat, use skype because the ingame voice chat is pretty bad. In addition to that, we(Tbun Aman Suria) have got to update the patch too since there is a slight difference between the patch 1.0 and 1.4 such as the sniper rifles are more accurate and the chat between matches are fixed and so on. So king kong, what do you say? 5 vs 5 or 8 vs 8? patch 1.0 or patch 1.4? skype or ingame voice chat? Oh btw, skype is a thrid part software but it does not alter the game so it is fine and it is commonly used in other CoD4 tournaments. Added on January 23, 2008, 4:38 amOh yeah and skype allows the players to just talk without having to press a button to talk. It makes the chat more relistic in terms of effectiveness since in real life, you don't have to tap ur partner's shoulder and then talk... LoL. you just talk and do it. And also, the players who are playing againts each other be placed part from each other or they will have a perk 4, eavesdrop. This post has been edited by X-Lw|Ashley: Jan 23 2008, 04:38 AM |

QUOTE(X-Lw|Ashley @ Jan 20 2008, 10:44 PM) You propose that everybody should be level 55 and using the same profile but just change the multiplayer name? I don't think that is possible because that will cause a clash of CDkey. The game will reject all the other CDkey except the 1st player who entered the game with it. It won't. At least on LAN games it won't. My friends and I also play at TBun Aman Suria and we all share the same profile, all with the same cd-key. No problems so far. As for the game mode I prefer domination. TDM not so fun especially when there are more than 10 in a team. Everyone tend to bunch up and always got killed right after spawning. Domination mode need more teamwork, and allows more strategy in playing. |

SHARING the same profile. And you actually even dare to tell it out. LOL no wonder there seems to be many "s*hai" (profile nickname) that are of lvl 55... X_X~

Hahaha. You all share the same profile.... Talk about being conservative.
What rank are you and your friends now and how long have you been playing? I would be rank 55 in no time if I had friends playing it while I was at home. I don't know but I don't like the idea of that. I think everybody should have their own individual profiles. If they are at a low rank, they better play up and get to their target rank. If the organizer gives us at least a month time from confirmation till the tourny, it would be more than enough time to get from rank 1 to 55, seriously.. The tourny would either be a 8 vs 8 or a 5 vs 5. Based on my sources, 5 vs 5 is most optimal for CoD4 while 8 vs 8 is best for Battlefield. LoL, Shifty. Talk in Mexican. hahahahaha! I would love to kill you guys in hope for some Mexican Potato Chips. LoL... KING KONG!!!!!!! You really have to keep us updated with what you are planning for the tourny. A lot of people wants your contact such as LunaG. Seriously mate, check into this topic more often. GAR! |

X_X~ Haha why not! The only reason we are using the same cd-key is because its easier to remember just one. BTW I've seen a few lvl55, but none called "s*hai". Most "s*hai" I saw are quite noob, regardless of their level.QUOTE(X-Lw|Ashley @ Jan 23 2008, 10:46 PM) Hahaha. You all share the same profile.... Talk about being conservative. Perhaps you guys misunderstood what I said, when I say sharing profile doesn't mean when I level up I pass my account to my friend, and when he plays and level he passes it back to me. I mean we just use the same cd-key, each with our individual names and classes. What rank are you and your friends now and how long have you been playing? I would be rank 55 in no time if I had friends playing it while I was at home. I don't know but I don't like the idea of that. I think everybody should have their own individual profiles. If the organizer gives us at least a month time from confirmation till the tourny, it would be more than enough time to get from rank 1 to 55, seriously.. I'm still far from lvl55 (34 or 35) I don't play that much in CCs, and I don't play at home. Every level of mine I earned it myself. So I really don't see any problem with that. I actually have the level 55 account, but I don't use it, just because I feel it defeats the purpose. It's more fun earning XP and unlocking perks and weapons when playing. |

Added on January 24, 2008, 4:53 amevolove... man.... in that case... can't you just get a piece of paper and copy down the CDkey? I've got my CD memorised... 1 brain, 1 cdkey... well, lets say u forgot ur cdkey, what do u do? call your friends and ask, "hey what was our cdkey?" and he goes, "ask XXX I think he knows.." and so on... wouldn't taking it down on a paper be easier my friend? You can say that, but everytime we play, we play together. And some of us tend to lose things easily. We figured this would be easier for us, at least now it doesnt matter if someone forgot his key.
Anyway you play at TBun often? Don't know you've seen, but we are the bunch of dudes who refuses to play TDM everytime and host the domination maps. |

woots.. I would never have found this site if an 'AMY' didn't inform me during last night's session at Aman Suria..
Hello Ashley - I recognize your nick.. I'm Pryde I'm ALL game for a COD4 tourney.. I like the idea of a random team based approach since the game is still relatively new here.. And I definitely support Hardcore mode over normal. Me and another buddy player 'mush' just formed a Facebook COD4 group to coordinate gaming sessions at Tbun - if anyone needs kaki to play with or possible forming of a team, feel free to join us! http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=9683856783 Added on January 24, 2008, 12:51 pm QUOTE(bitzboy @ Jan 24 2008, 02:08 AM) lol...or we can use codenames..for example..red panties means fall back..etc etc Yeah man, those are type of games we should play more often hehe If only there were lesser sohais, and more decent players, then the teams will really be a fairer match up and make the game even more challenging.. Hardcore rules! This post has been edited by vertigofoo: Jan 24 2008, 12:51 PM |

Ah, no worries Ash, I guess I'll just prowl around for people to recruit. Does eavesdrop work on skype? I don't think it does.
Holy, blitz and lunaG want to form a team? |

I doubt eavesdrop would work on skype. That is why the eavesdrop perk is considered the most unused perk. Skype is used better than the in-game audio chat is because it is much much clearer and it is always on. You don't have to press a button and say, "Look out behind you!" cause that would be a little slow.
And I don't know why King Kong needs a feedback forum if he doesn't even checks on the feedbacks often. Last post from him was on the 20th Jan 2008 which was on page 4 and now we are at the end of page 6. Added on January 24, 2008, 3:54 pmOh yeah, I'm going to the cafe in about... an hour or so from now. GAR! This post has been edited by X-Lw|Ashley: Jan 24 2008, 03:54 PM |

Wazap guys waaa lots of new ppl posting nice la.. Deomen i dont mind about the team thing ^^ keep in contact la...
About the profile sharing i think its abit unfair the rest of us worked our butts off for the rank ><..... BTW General hawkins/dispair and kitty that gang dont know about this thread yet? Hmm Ash working in Tbun lol can play and work... dream job la... about the perk i think it will be quite pointless i would rather pick other more use full ones |
