the RM32 gosen string is 0.66
now used by our national badminton team
its very durable, good for smashes..
i wanted BG-66, but he said its not so good..
and anyway, since string included, might as well get the "expensive" string lar.. hehehhehe *kiasuism*

i am using the BG-66 on my Isometric 500...
so i guess i'll get to test the gosen string... smile.gif

Racquet World
Lot G67, Pertama Complex
Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman
Kuala Lumpur MY, 50100

When you reach Pertama Complex main entrance go straight in until you reach an end...
then turn right and walk to the end...
turn left, and walk until you see some stairs... Go down..
go on straight and you will see some video arcades on your left, and there is a corridor on your left.. go on in and racquet world would be almost the end of the corridor.. on your left...

p/s: i'm not advertising for them... smile.gif

u mean the 21 SP...

two of my friend using that racquet, they still haven't got used to it I think, they said is heavier then what they are used too. Throw off their smash timing.

personal opinion only lah... maybe it's good for u

yup...
its heavy and pretty tiring...
i'm also learning to get used to it..

newbie in badminton or buying racquets?

if newbie in badminton, then better not play with high tension..
cos it will hurt your wrist and your back in the long run..

I don't have a Volkl racquet... you must have misunderstood me.. smile.gif
I only have a Gosen Roots 6700..
very good smashing racquet, but i think defence and net play average only.. maybe cos i put high tension and have a lazy wrist.. tongue.gif

how much is the Ti-10 from Etakoh?
Might wanna get one too...

erm... maximum is 30lbs..
according to racquetworld staff..
strung at 26lbs before.. smile.gif
most good racquets nowadays can take btw 24-30..
the Prince NXGraphite series can take up to 32, if i'm not mistaken.. smile.gif

myhat: you strung your Volkl at how many lbs?
my 25 lbs feel like its 23 only.. string still can be pressed.. sad.gif

yeah... i agree with you... that "booby" girl doesn't concentrate when stringing.. keep flirting with other malay guys..
I usually ask the boss to do it for me..
hmmm... will try Etakoh for my next stringing.. but my fren said Etakoh staff very arrogant..

found out from my fren with the this style of stringing..
he says when he hit the shuttle, it gives a louder sound..
but power remain the same..

can be used to scare the opponents kua.. tongue.gif
hehehehe...

the Volkl V9 was not bad..
felt some slight vibration on strokes, but the flexibility of the shaft allowed some whipping technique.. if only my tension was higher.. sad.gif
smashing wise, not as powerful as Gosen 6700...

tension actually depends on you..
whether you're able to play with high tension or not..
cos high tension would lead to arm and back injury in the long run..
if you're able to play with a high tension, then only you choose which racquet you're able to play with that can support the tension of your choice..

most good racquets nowadays can support tension up to 30 lbs...
popular strings are those of 0.66mm example Yonex BG-66..
again this is subjective to your playing style...

what racquet and tension are you using currently?
give us more detail then only we're able to provide a more accurate recommendation..
there are lots of experienced pros here.. but i'm not one of them.. i also just started using high tension racquets.. tongue.gif
