If his a beginner, give him a RM899 racquet also he won't be able to maximise game performance...
better ask him to start with a medium flex shaft, isometric head and tension max 25lbs...
get an overall performance racquet..
I'd recommend the Prince Oversize Red, should be within his budget..
available at Racquet World...

whoa... N9000x.. rich fella you are..

but then again... its difficult to buy a racquet that suits your playing style without first knowing the specs..
and most of us here do not have a lot of budget to keep buying racquets to suit our playing style..
can't go around testing others' racquets rite?
same racquet can also have a few different string tension and type of strings..
but now i'm very happy with my Volkl.. Cheap and Good..

I think Yonex is like a Maggi for instant mee lah. Or like Panadol for painkiller.  Since our father time we trust Yonex.

You're right...
cos yonex has been sponsoring many major events, so all we ever think of is "Yonex" but due to its steep price, many are going for alternatives... and since lots of Yonex clones are out in the market selling at fraction of the price....

haha.. i'm gonna go get another racquet very very soon..
wonder what Racquet World gonna "hard sell" to me this time.. sweat.gif

Racquet world got a introductory offer of "Hart" (i think brand by Eddy Hartono)
Price range from RM139 - RM180
If buy liao, but doesn't suit you, can bring the racquet back and swap for another Hart model..
keep swapping till you're satisfied... smile.gif
I just bought to try...

i think i'm having a deja-vu while replying this..
Racquet world is at Pertama complex, next to Sogo in KL

IIRC Ti-10 Long is RM380+ at pertama complex with BG-66 string and Grip, not sure got bag or not...

Thanks, cmsiow... Do u have any experience with it?

Another suggestion please...

Proace Thunderbolt III, Yonex Nanospeed 9000 type X

but end of the day, it depends on your playing style..
smashing power comes 80% from your arm, and 20% of the racquet..
if a person doesn't know how to smash, i provide the world's best smashing racquet also that fella won't be able to use...

offensive racquets usually have a extra stiff shaft...
make sure you got strong arms and back muscle before going all out to use these racquets..
else, you'll end up with a injured back and sore arms.. happened to me when i 1st used the Carb21sp sweat.gif

Racquet world, Pertama Complex has it...
but the shop owner told me not to use that string, as its over-rated..
said might as well use BG-65
so I ended up with BG-85, and this time, i notice no bulu-bulu after stringing and playing a few games...
maybe Yonex QC got prob.. whistling.gif
