100 units of K7?
Humm ... I don't know whether it is a good business venture or not for.
Nowadays I see many shop in Pg sell casing at RM130 already.
Only need to add RM70 and get the best 'money for value' quality casing from a pedigree company.
- aluminum external
- internal 0.8mm thick SECC
- three 12cm fans (two intake fans with washable air filters in the front, one exhaust fans at the rear)
- removable motherboard tray with two cable clips behind so that can tidy up and hide the cables.
- Top I/O (Two USB2.0 / One IEEE1394 / HD+AC97 Audio) which is what I want instead of bending right down to the floor to plug in the usb device. Make me wonder if I am the only one putting casing on the floor or on caster? hmm.gif
So, at RM200 each where to find such casing with so many features?
and plus RM30 postage also.
Stock not yet arrived already 3 persons express interested.
Anyway jy14 says he can get some in by the 10th Nov.
So no worries karom, much appreciate the effort and thanks for info.

Will think of you when I get the casing. biggrin.gif

We'll see how the new thread that you started at BTL goes, if ok then we all move there. But honestly I think ppl will keep coming back here unless we forcibly close this thread and redirect everything there.

Have you tried Macalister lane? After you turn in from Burmah Road, it should be a few shops away from the junction on your right.

Sorry do not remember the name or the exact address of that shop.

Today received bad news from jy14, the K7 can only come next year! cry.gif

Any of you knows if Singapore got K7 or not? and which shop?
before I make arrangement to get it from there.

I not good at Wikimapia, further more got no road names.
From Burmah Road I think you turn left just after the Hong Leong Bank into Macalister Lane.
Proceed down after 4 buildings, the shop should be on your right.
Today is Sunday, do not know they open or not.

Here are the best electronics shops in Penang island

Hang Sin Electronics (Kimberly street, you can turn in from Maccalum street, it exits to Penang road-its one way)
-look out for their yellow signboard, its hard to miss, moreover they take up two shops.
-have a decent selection of stuff (components & equipment), and usually quite cheap

Gem One electronics (Go to CIMB in Komtar (not Prangin), go up the stairs/escalator nearby and walk around)
-almost everything is overpriced here, but you can find exotic stuff like ready made inductors, ferrite coils, gears and other stuff hard to find elsewhere

Tong Sin (Argyll road, turn in from Penang road, look out on the right)
-a lot of old stuff available here, not sure about price though, place is new to me

Hondai (opposite tapak Pesta)
-lots of high quality stuff here, and you can order stuff from Farnell's catalog if its not in stock
-expect to pay for it though, they seldom stock cheap variants on most stuff. Even multimeters are all Fluke brand.

I tried looking for Hondai before, but it seems that it is not there anymore.

Is it located at the houses opposite Pesta?
