QUOTE(DepressedHobo @ Mar 8 2018, 04:54 PM) i really appreciate the reply because im at a total lost. knowing money grabbing greedy college , they will definitely say that they already banked in everything to me and its been too long already and there are no records of such. which is really depressing. i just dont wan to end up repaying something i didnt get for in the first place. i would be happy to pay back the 20 k ish i got from ptptn. i was just thinking the only way of proving it is getting my bank statement from years ago and showing it to them that no money was credited into my account. what do u think? im quite desperate at the moment  It's better that you get a record of financial statement from your college/university to support your case in addition to your bank statement. QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 9 2018, 08:55 PM) You pay the Ujrah and insurance in one lump sum every month right? That said the PTPTN officer told me before insurance can even pay one shot at the end of payment. Now, I pay at Portal using PBB Quantum MC. I remembered last time I paid using JomPay, they don't adjust the insurance portion.

QUOTE(sidefulnes @ May 5 2018, 11:03 PM) From what I read, one party's manifesto states the suspension of repayments for those earning below RM4k/month while another party's manifesto is to scrap it all together. The latter to me is farfetched by miles.. Anybody read the manifesto or are up to date can confirm this? It's just a manifesto. Don't put high hope. Till it is being presented in the coming budget, then you can see more hope. Everybody can make promise. It's free world!

Till GE14 is conluded, there's no government for the mean time. Whatever is in the manifesto is merely a promise. Don't hogging over till. You'll get a clearer picture once dusts are settled when a new government is elected and a new whole Budget 2018 is presented. Whether PTPTN will be in that particular budget, it's still unclear.

* To ensure the sustainability of the National Higher Education Fund (PTPTN), several initiatives have been announced, including payment through deductions of between 2% and 15% from the borrower's salary, based on their monthly income rate. This system is only applicable to borrowers earning more than RM1,000 a month. - A tax break will be given to companies that assist its staff members to settle their loans by the year ending 2019. Finally, the government has also announced that all remaining loans for borrowers aged above 60 and earning less than RM4,000 a month have been waived, benefiting 350 borrowers with a cost of RM4.2 million. At PTPTN office, you can make your payment using credit card as long as your card has sufficient limit. As for the settlement letter and update for CCRIS: QUOTE 16. QUOTE(shaunkL @ Nov 13 2018, 09:11 AM) HI all, Just would like to ask is it worth to use EPF 2 account to pay off PTPTN? with 20% off. Worth of not is very subjective. EPF Account 2 can be used for property related transaction. Think properly.
