They will redo a new agreement for you and it will be fresh 1%. So if you owe them 60k, it will be new agreement based on 60k.

just went yesterday to pay half of the total amount to get the 10% rebate....
costing me around 10k..... oops....

Wonder if I should just refinance my prop can free up 50k from its appreciation and pay up this PTPTN since it has 20% off.

hi,my sister loan from ptptn in the year 2010,and decided to start paying back now.since she didn't complete her study,her ptptn loan actually stopped at rm8k.now she is blacklisted in ccris.she went to ptptn booth and consult them,they said need to settle her tungakkan,total is rm7.8k,almost all of her loan amount.

the thing is she does not have that much of cash,and requested for paying 50%,and settle the remaining through monthly direct debit to clear her off from being blacklisted.but the person told her she needs to settle all tungakkan,as settling half still puts her in the blacklist,and bank still can see her outstanding amount.

but according to her friends,settling half will un-blacklist her,but the ptptn person didn't say so.any way to help her besides settling all in 1 shot,even though there's discount 20%?

I just want to add up something regarding Direct Debit Payment for PTPTN.

For anyone who are facing trouble during the registration of the Direct Debit, please see the reasons below:


I kid you not, that "melebihi 27 aksara" (exceeds 27 characters,@domain.com included) is a damn thing. My registration got failed 4 times because my e-mail contain 28 characters. Then on the fifth registration, use email with < 27 characters and then boom, success......

May I ask why last year already can apply for 20% discount? I thought is starting from 2018?
