Have you try to burn those video into a DVD?? How is the quality compare to real DVD quality movie? I heard that the video shoot using the N82 will be able to convert into DVD movie easily using software like Nero but have not try and not sure whether the MP4 compression will cause any loss in quality..but did play around with one unit before..seen like the quality playback on the phone looks ok..but not sure about how is it looks like when playback in computer or DVD player..Any Sifu did tried on this before? one main reason why I am consider N82 is because of it has the best video recording(don't compare with LG viewty which able to shoot at 120fps) with DVD video quality.. else I may thinking of buying another handy viewcam instead..cause my old viewcam battery already die..

I want to buy a new phone and currently I'm looking at the N95 (not 8gb) and the N82.

1. AFAIK both are about the same price, so which one is better overall?
2. Both come in silver colour right, but can I later change it to another cover color?
Any downsides on both of these phones?

Need some advice:
Just switch to 3G network due to wanna try the video call on my Hotlink. The video quality received is so so which looks like some crappy VCD but that's not the problem.
The problem is there is only 3 to 4 bars out of the 7 bars show on the network meter in my house, that'll drain my batt quite fast tho. Any solution?

Agggggggggggggggggggghhhh I dropped my N82 ... some more from like 4 feet above ground directly onto the road T_T ... now the top left corner got very obvious and deep scratch mark T_T

Anyway! You guys got notice that the sent messages doesn't save all or not? Like ... I've never emptied my messages folders, my inbox has lots of messages but sent messages got 20 only leh ...

whoa... so it's true right the menu of i550 and n82 are almost the same??

but what about this stupid behavior...

The loudspeaker option will only activated after you have press the answer button. But that's not the end of it.. After you select the loudspeaker option.. then it will ask you for confirmation whether you really want to route the output through the speaker??!!! How stupid!!!!     

Is it like that also on N82??

if that is the case.. i don't know what to say..   no wonder i've googled the confirmation message i.e. "Change audio routing to loudspeaker?" yields to no results.. 

for sure if the message appear on n82.. a lot of people will sure complaining that stupid message!!   

anyway.. N82 is also not smart enough lah then.. Since my sister's Nokia 5300 XpressMusic behave in such a way that the right/left key is automatically set to LOUDSPEAKER when there's an incoming call. Meaning that we only need to press once to activate the loudspeaker.. So convenient while you are driving..

Since we have already the ANSWER button.. Then why must the left/right key be set to ANSWER the phone as well?? Arghhhhhhhhh..........

*Did you know you can end an active data connection by holding down the Red Button on standby screen?

*Did you know there's a faster way to go back one page in the browser than to use the right soft key? Press 3.

*In gallery if you want to send a file, instead of scrolling through options then send, did you know you can just hit the green button to pop up the send menu?

Here are a few more tips I'd like to add to this post...

- Holding down the pound key should put the N82 in the "Silent" profile, or silence the phone. This should work on all handsets, but I believe there are a few product codes that don't have this feature.

- When viewing a photo in the Gallery, the 5 key zooms in. You can use the D-pad to scroll around the image, than zoom more by pressing 5 again. The volume keys also do this same function. To zoom back out you push the 0 key. To delete an image quickly, push the "C" button.

- When your done writing your text or email, instead of hitting "options-send", you can just push the green call button.

Do you have any other tips not listed here? Leave a comment to share them.

You can also use "C" 2 delete msgs an files (wd d file manager).

- i use d hash key (#) 2 mark items. Example, i mark multiple images, or multple msgs, then pressing the "C" key wll delete them ol. Or mark several items 2 send via bluetooth.

woah... went looking around in 1u,here's what i found out:

1)8GB is a shocking number.
2)only one shop even has the price for it (the photo shop on the second floor new wing/bridge)
3)it's too huge a card for most people-you should see their faces
4)the prices there are 4gb(or was it 2gb?) was going for RM150!

my question is..what is the way to properly verify and test a new set of N82? test whether it's ori or AP...

im not sure if it's just me,but my N82 takes something like 3-5 minutes after a reboot to properly settle down.
if i use the phone immediately upon restart,it doesnt move

may i know what are the applications you have installed??

do you have sms scheduler?? which software r u using? mind to share..
