Hello fellas,
i am looking for some advise before buying a Proton T-Bolt. Ran a search in the Sports Channel but i can't find any discussion about this bike. anyone using this bike with advise? I dun bike now but would like to start. Gotta find something to do that is both interesting and healthy. I got an offer for this bike @ less than RM900. so i am thinking should i get this. T-Blaze goes for RM400. |

t-bolt is a very nice bike...
a carbon main frame with a alu rear swingarm with rear DNM shock and Deore LX rd and shifters with Tektro discs(though i recomend you to get the brakes changed)... rear travel 4" or was it 3"... nevertheless,it is a great beginner's bike and a very comfortable bike... my fren owns one and it ain't bad but his comes with a KS rear air shock and it sucks badly... and IMO the BB is too near to the ground recomend u to get it,change the shocks, brakes, fork, crankset, cut the seatpost and u can use it for some playing in kiara dh trails lol... ps: reason why its rm900 coz proton ain't selling bikes no more... the bike ure buying will most likely be clearence stock This post has been edited by Nightstalker1993: Feb 14 2008, 11:43 PM |

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Feb 14 2008, 11:42 PM) t-bolt is a very nice bike... eh... too much lingo. i am like 99% buying, just that i find very little comment on this bike on the net.a carbon main frame with a alu rear swingarm with rear DNM shock and Deore LX rd and shifters with Tektro discs(though i recomend you to get the brakes changed)... rear travel 4" or was it 3"... nevertheless,it is a great beginner's bike and a very comfortable bike... my fren owns one and it ain't bad but his comes with a KS rear air shock and it sucks badly... and IMO the BB is too near to the ground recomend u to get it,change the shocks, brakes, fork, crankset, cut the seatpost and u can use it for some playing in kiara dh trails lol... ps: reason why its rm900 coz proton ain't selling bikes no more... the bike ure buying will most likely be clearence stock thanks for your advise. hopefully i'll be able to throw back some lingo with time. another thing, some told me to get T-Blaze as the rear absorber will make the ride bumpy. some told me its ok.... i am confuse. when i took the T-Bolt for a short ride it felt ok. You guys can add to this? This post has been edited by demio121: Feb 14 2008, 11:53 PM |

For T-Bolts, pelase head over to the FakawiTribe.com forums. They have a nice thread only for T-Bolts i think..
And no.. They don't have a carbon frame... |
