how would we know the internals of the keyboard is dry?

outside might be dry.. but the inside its gonna be difficult..

its like trying to dry a folded cloth..

uncle, can wash optical mice using this way also? biggrin.gif

u rinse it with dynamo ? body shampoo can be used or not?

Mse wont get so dirty, but if u wanna wash it, can oso. Mse just open up n use a brush enuf lor. laugh.gif
Ya I used Tesco brand which is like Dynamo. Wanted more cleaning power coz the kb so dirty, also I used liquid detergent coz I dont want the powder to get into the kb. Body shampoo got perfumes n moisturisers n all that, I wudn try that. laugh.gif

Can, but polishing the keys is a bit problematic. Even if the time taken to do it is not a problem for you, often you'll end up removing the letters as well..

never thought, things can b done like this. but dude, later, ppl misunderstood it, they gonna wash their harddisk just like this... then, its consider formatting the harddisk.

Orait..uncle is right..I oledy rendam my Logitech NewTouch (old model) with Softlan (so wangi and soft!!) Hahaha...dry it on my windows upside down for 2 days and tadaaaa....everything works fine yay!!

Dang..smell so wangi now..feel like to type the keyboard with my nose hehehee...

then dont polish the key lor, haha...maybe i can use some shining paint and spray on it(not the letters) and make it shine shine after wash drool.gif

just remove all the screw lor, no need remove key, if all ur key drop out then put it back 1 by 1 after dry lor.

normally will take 1 week to dry depends on ur enviroment lar, uncle took a month to let it dry right??
