Just want to share some experience here
I stay at Condo somewhere at sglong
yesterday the door bell rang twice,
I answer it but noone speak (maybe my doorbell spoiled)
I didnt check out who is the one who rang the doorbell since most of the time just some random ppl rang the doorbell
until this morning I check, there is paper from Skynet say that fail to deliver cz nobody at home.
Fine , I think its my fault.
but then, I check my phone...
The deliver boy just sms to my phone instead of calling yesterday when he found noone at home
he wrote " XXXX, SY SKYNET"
thats all..
wth >.<"
lousy service!

P/S: I didnt expect to receive any parcel

if the postman arrived at ur house when no ones at home, will they leave a note asking u to collect at their office?

yes, they'll.
Had experiences before where they called to ask if the receiver is at home.

go to consumer tribunal (under kpdnkk) and lodge a formal complain against them

Skynet is the worse courier service ever. You can look at the picture above, my package arrived at malaysia at 10 feb and should be sent out to me at that day but I only got my package on 17 feb. I called their customer service to locate my package but they failed to do so. I called them everyday but the answer given by them made me so angry. They said, '' tak jumpalah, tak dapat cari'', ''tak dapat lagi from the main hub'', ''you calllah penang branch untuk cari package you''. Finally, on 17 feb, got call from them and they sent out at that day. They took a week to locate it.

What do they mean by scheduled for delivery? today or what??

penang branch lagi. I think penang skynet is the worst one.

in the delivery. but if saturday, they work until 12.30pm. either they come before 12pm or come on monday. or u collect at their branch before they closed, make sure the van had return to the branch

some time ago i called their number 03- 56239090 (this number is on their website) to ask a question whether they provide service of delivering after working hours. someone answer the call, i ask my question, then the guy ask me where are you located? i said nilai, then he gave me nilai's skynet number. i'm like WTF? can't he just answer the question without diverting me to a specific branch? lazy ass i assume. then i call the given nilai branch number, call many times, no one answer. their customer service is mediocre at best. i will avoid using skynet at all cost.

ah crap , i check my tracking no. for today and i found out they "fail to reach" me by 10am+ (i still sleeping lol...) , but problem is they did not leave a message note for me to contact em nor did they call/sms me at all = =...
and when i look for the contact of Cheras skynet... there's only main branch contact at the website.. awesome...

This kind of customer service is really speechless.
i think the quality is not consistent, some branches are good, some are really bad...

thursday, i was not at home, they do left me a note, ok!

friday morning 9am i call them to ask for 2nd delivery and whether they can deliver to me before 2pm, the lady said CANNOT!(i wonder why they cannot work more flexible, isn't this is their job to deliver parcel to customers?), since they said so, ok fine, i told the lady i will go COLLECT MYSELF before office close (she told me office closed on 6pm)

i arrived on 5:15pm, after 20 mins they searched around their office, they told me they cannot find my item, asked me if anyone already collected for me? i said "IMPOSSIBLE"! then they told me maybe driver took it out. they will check for me, and call me once they found my parcel.

saturday morning, 9:15am, (this morning) i called them, the same lady told me they not yet found my item, asked me to wait until 10am, they will call me before 10am. ok i wait again, 10:05am, they not yet called me, so i called them again, the lady said found my item, asked me to collect from them, i asked her, y can't you deliver to me? she then told me the driver already go out, i almost want to said foul language which i never! i never tell them i will go collect second time! then the lady talked to me very rude! and trying quarrel with me and dun want deliver the parcel to me due to driver already go out!

since she is so rude talking to customer,act like she is BIG BOSS, then i return her with blame and rudely, "IF I NEED GO COLLECT FROM YOUR OFFICE EVERYTIME, THEN WHY I WANT TO USE COURIER SERVICES? YESTERDAY I ALREADY GO YOUR OFFICE ONE TIME, IS YOUR FAULT THAT NOT LEFT THE PARCEL IN OFFICE! AND I NEVER SAID WILL COLLECT FOR THE SECOND TIME, I NEED TO WORK, I HAVE NO TIME TO ALWAYS GO YOUR OFFICE TO COLLECT! IT IS YOUR JOB TO DELIVER MY PARCEL TO MY DOORSTEP! THIS IS WHY I NEED TO USE COURIER SERVICE!"

after that, only she said she will ask then BACKUP BOY deliver my parcel to me as soon as possible. and i request they must deliver before 12pm.

so now i waiting at home, and just received on 11am!

from my experience, cannot talk nicely with their staff, you must show your anger to them, only they will work on it.

hey im new with this skynet thingy. i just buy mouse from company located at kuantan pahang and they just send it with skynet around 10:30am yesterday (saturday) is possible i receive my item this afternoon or evening?(sunday)

pahang not working day on sunday, u can wiat on tml.

skynet are shit , from the advance tracking , they stated 2 times of delivery but shipment delayed. my seller say she post on thursday so means i will get on friday, but Skynet status is arrive on friday 8.12am to penang , but they failed to deliver on the same day, fine then we wait for the whole saturday, same story, shipment delayed. what the hell ?

Skynet sucks....poslaju are better

You don't think twice when you see skynet. You just walk away without thinking even if the only way out is paved with a mile of horsecrap. You will smile stepping on poo with your bare feet.

I have never ever used a service horrible, so horrible. AVOID them even if you need to break your own leg doing so.

i been suspicious of skynet because the last time i send item to sabah i take almost 1 week to arrive. I have to call them multiple time and the excuse they give is always canot find house. It a place near university malaysia sabah so it not some ulu-ulu place.

Second is i face problem with penang skynet also. Also same problem tak ada rumah. I called my frend, he always at home and there sure someone at home if he not around. But batang hidung skynet nvr come come also say not at home. If Sabah, mayb there an actual because the place might be big and hard to find but Penang? Need until 1 week to find? Plus i not sure but my frend told the penang skynet office ppl very rude..

So far using poslaju, cheap but i once saw the people pakai throw your package into the van. Like throwing ball. A bit worry if the item is fragile item. The most they take 3 days not like skynet until one week

These sellers are just as bad. In my experience most of them will deny you if you request for Poslaju with the the excuse of "hey it works for me". Of course it does for them (since it's only pickup) but why would one want to buy from a seller who will end up torturing their customers by using Skynet?

Skynet is a piece of shit service and we should vote not to use them with our wallet. Don't give any money to them.

i dont think it cheap, last time i sent a goods worth RM350 of ext hardrive to sabah. Skynet charge me almost rm60 i ask them why so expensive, ''tak tau mungkin barang mahal atau system memang kira macam tu''

i should have declare low low and put it as books The only reason why i use skynet last time is because it near my house and the manager is a nice guy. Now change fellow ad, service drop 100%. Now using poslaju cheaper but like i mentioned, last time i saw they just throw your parcel into the van like throwing ball. So if fragile item make sure u wrap it to maximun protection just as fail safe
