applying for zecco.....anyone using it currently? Any comments?

Great price. I manage to buy at 4.35 that day but sold off already. Not too patient to wait. Looking for a dip to enter again.

My zecco account was approve yesterday although I am applying the about same day as SOGOTRADE at the end of August. Just look around a bit last night. My initial impression is that SOGOTRADE is much much better. I could find where is their realtime price. What I can see is only snapshot about the particular stock. If you need realtime price have to subscribe for Quotestream II ($20 per month) or Quote Grid($8 per month) which they will give you a software to view.

On top of that brokerage fee for SOGO is cheaper.

True, but if you are long term, what is that $13?

ZECCO account not yet approved until now, been over 2 months. Customer service sucks. They don't entertain small trader like me.

Yea, i agree. E-trade commision is high. 19.99.

If trade more than 30 transaction in 3 months, you'll get 9.99 and some other fees waiver.

Their office is at Singapore, it would be a good consideration if you prefer to speak to a real person. They speak mandarin too for those who prefers it that way.


Well, that's about fees and services, but not sure yet about their trading platform comparison to TD ameritrade.

Wish E Trade would reduce fee prices and offer more promo to international clients.

Where is the Bank's SWIFT Code?

Aren't you need to put "Further credit to your account Number ...?"

Looks like HSBC interface for TT is much better than of Maybank.

Anyway - There should be an Instruction of TT from Sogo's website * login required.

Maybank no colume to input SWIFT code. Also no place to further credit to my account. That why make me confuse.

I think Sogo is better, but it only allows TT back 50USD (no free cheque issued), that means for long term only Sogo is better. Do they have real time streaming quote?

I think I already fill wrongly. Any one can help. US bank should be under beneficiary bank details. Genesis should be under personal detail.

And the minimum initial funding is USD 1K.

Can start small to get the feel bout it. That's what attracts me. And their branch office is at Singapore. Can go knock their door when something is wrong.

If you want to go for healthcare, dun pick 1 or 2 counters, buy the HEALTHCare ETF. If one company go bust, you won't worry much.

Remember when US Fed announced rate unchanged two weeks ago? It sent a strong signal that nobody can earn money when it is sitting in fixed deposits or govt issued bonds or treasuries. People will take their money and buy stocks, and other equities/assets. The US Fed is intentionally creating this market bubble. Time to get in while it is inflating and get out before it burst.

Australia already made its rate hike announcement, I suspect the US Fed will follow suit and make a rate hike in about two months or closing to year end, this is when stocks will fall. Now, USD is crapping out with rumor of Arab Oil states, Chinese and Russians abandoning USD for Oil trading,, which is BS speculation for now.. but this rumor is great for trading energy stocks.

My ave is 70. I've sold off 50% this morning at 86.5. Now, holding 200 shares.

Bought 200@ ERX at 40 yesterday. I think I'm going sell it tonight. Too bubbly already... but I wait for more signals like the USD index.
