Prices for 8800GT & 9800GT depend on brands. i.e. cannot compare Brand A 8800GT with Brand B 9800GT, etc..

yours failed? mine worked wor..showed as msi9800gt..but din test it..actually i was playing around with the magic panel program...then accidentally flashed the 9800gt bios..luckily can work

9800gt is supposed to run cooler than 8800gt rite? i flashed mine with the bios 016 gave, and tested a bit with 3dmark06. but din have time to finish testing and see the score. while benchmarking i was listening to the fan, and it hardly spun to fullspeed, unlike the 8800gt when running in full load. is this normal?
