hi chester,
i was interviewed as web designer. then they change it to assistant manager. but the job scope is the same, except that i have to take care of another 2 designer (i think it's the same as art director la, but since the environment itself is corporate).
mind asking, what the meaning as grade 36? it was stated in the offer letter.
i've just signed the letter this morning tho, will start this may, early of the month. besides the privileges that i will have, anything i missed out n can be share eh?
thx yo..

Would like to ask you guys a small question.

I applied for the management trainee programme at CIMB about a week ago, sent an email according to procedure, but I haven't received any reply till now. Any idea how long they usually take to reply applicants?

ice, when did you apply? Btw, are you from a local or overseas uni? I did my studies locally so I'm wondering whether they might be slower to reply because of that.

Cimb will be taking over Maybank as largest bank in the nation. I think it will be good opportunity for the chinese with good foundation in mandarin. Because what is demanding now is, the people who possessed the most demanding language will survive and strive.

my experience with CIMB:

Went for the interview on January.
Never got a single call @ respond until march. I tot i didnt get the job. At last they call to ask weather i ws still interested. I said yes.
Then wait again for 2weeks for them to confirm that i got the job. & again they said wait for another call for the offer letter.
After 1week & 3days only they call back to ask me when i cud come to get the offer letter & do medical checkup.
Im now working with maxis but still prefer to go to CIMB.
Really wonder what took them too long to process an application..=(
