Ts, sorry to 'tumpang' ur thread.

I also wanna set up a company. It will be a Marketing/Distribution company, which will involve importing goods from outside Malaysia/overseas and for this reason might as well apply for AP.
Question is, can i just set up an enterprise or do i need a SDN BHD ?

kswong77, can u explain a bit about using a full time co secretary office to register my company. Can do something like that?

I have a few question to ask on sdn bhd

debt responsible by the company will not affect director's personal finance or shareholder's personal finance?
(i read somewhere if the company can't settle the debt fully, the remaining debt will be the director's responsible??)

debt responsible by the company will affect bank account, belongings, etc that is registered under the company name only?

any legal matters on the company are only bound to the company and not the directors?

ty

If yr S/B strong financially, directors will not be required guarantors & yes to yr questions above.

But if yr S/B are not financially strong or some suppliers requirement, mostly will required directors as guarantors
