Well, actually i'm doing it now.......quite mind cracking. Quite tough on every aspect of it. You always need to think a lot instantly if you want to really keep up with the classes. I shit not.

Lecturer in Culinary Arts?....I think you better gain at least 5 years of experience before venturing into one. Owh yeah..and i heard..u need masters qualification now because its changing to the "University" status..so yeah..at least masters.

In higher Dip we learn bout management which many industry ppl ask why? Cause we need the handle staff and account to enable the system and company to run. Its not easy though...

FYI...
Hospitality line is one of the highest rate of divorce in the world,
More, dont let ur family involve in ur business it will make it worst.

ooo..means u guys will probably learn how to manage a restaurant, manage staffs, do accounts, do costings, advertising & promotion etc.?

its a good thing ma. i've seen many restaurants which won't last more than 6 months due to poor management and customer service.

knowing how to cook doesn't mean knowing how to handle the restaurant. laugh.gif

My lecturer without Experience and a Master qualification they cant proceed to a lecturer. Only those who are previous student which perform extremely outstanding which stand a chance to be a lecturer in their own college/uni.

60%+ of my lecturer is ex-taylorian. 1 of my lecturer (Chef) has his master qualification get promoted faster than other lecturer.

Without Experience u still can teach but soon ur student will start to complain

Added on July 18, 2010, 10:13 pm Further more, those General subject like Economic or Marketing which is thought by PHD lecturer @_@ dont even understand what they r talking
