I had the same problem, Proton service say it's a faulty part issue (actuator).

They are now in process to claim my warranty.

My mum was thinking to get a persona H-line but she was worried of the engine. She was told by the mechanic that the campro engine is an old engine and had many problems. Are there any problems with this campro engine ? Tq

as far as i know, i nvr heard campro engine got problems....

cps shud be good nvr driven it before.. campro.. ok la.. no problems la.. only thing low rpm no power laaa but if u are a slow driver then u wont feel it la.. if yr a person who wants good pickup all the time then the engine will irritate you haha.. either u press normal and no power or u tekan habis and get too much power LOL.. nothing in between

yup, the campro is juz hav prob in terms of power n the cps fixed it

Hi guys, i think i asked this question before even ask the mechanic of proton but not quite satisfy the answer every persona owner just share your experience about this please.

Everytime i mean everytime when my speed is up to 90-100 then the sound of engine start growing bigger kind of loud. but when i speed up to 110++ the sound gone already or low the speed to 80. what is really happen to that ?? is it the 4 piston start running a ???

one more thing is there is a red light blink in the dashboard, it is in the middle one a very small red dot blinking, but dont know what is that, according to the documentation it is somekind of LED light....i dont know what is really happen to my car, any of you know this ???

tht red dot in the dashboard is the alarm i think... coz it will only blink when i lock my car

hi, i am wondering to buy persona or waja cps now...
the waja cps really tempting with the powerful engine, but the exterior is really demotivating, it's even worse b4 the facelift.

as for the persona, i would like to take the HL(auto), but my concern is the fc and the torque dip.
otherwise, everything looks good on it.

any persona owners can advise?

fc wise, its the same as other auto 1.6... juz hav to wait ur engine to mature first, then u can c the fc is normal...

the torque dip is basically not much diff, as it is a campro engine, not new cps but they hav retune the ecu to make the pickup slightly better n u can feel the diff

waja cps n persona price diff is 10k, so up 2 u which one to choose

no i think he is talking about the rougher engine sound when the rpm is 3k around there.. 2.8k to 3.1k
that one all the persona also got la dunno why lol...

start the engine then the LED blinking non stop.. i just turn off the engine and on again then back to normal.. i dunno what caused it..

my persona h-line still in running in condition. haih, cannot rev kaw2. just drive below 90km/h. FC not very good, maybe after 1st service FC will improve much better. still got 700km to achieve 1000km.

btw, how much market price for the GPS navi unit? thinking want to sell it.

yes the rougher engine sound while in 5th gear and only at the speed of 90-110 will sounding but 110++ no more and very powerful already. if that is a command incident then only can ACCEPT it lo.
