btw, is NAT enable and upnp enable by default?

I believe my upnp was disabled, till I manually enabled it. Oh, and try adding the ps3's ip into the DMZ

hmm..what a coincidence.. a belkin router problem! am using Belkin as well
I was having some problems with my Unreal tournie..kept discon every 5 mins..so fooled around with the router settings and now its okays.

Upnp is the Universal Plug and Play, maybe you should just try enabling it without touching anything else cause the ps3 could possibly auto configure and the router will adjust its firewall accordingly for it? Or something along those lines.
it's supposed to help in cases exactly like ours..PS3 and other gaming stuff.
Sorry if i can't give a clearer descript but just only found out last night by reading on the net

i don't know if you and guts have discussed it before but you can try putting the router ip add into the ps3.it might help. i did it

weird, I use the capalang outdated aztech router no need to worry about DMZ, upnp and all that Just add the SSID and passkey and all set! Hardly DC from COD4.
