High Velocity Bowling is kind of fun. With sixaxis you really feel like playing real bowling, at home. Tthough the bowling ball is way heavier. laugh.gif

oh how i wanna play this game. bro can share you high velocity game with me? brows.gif
*
I sure got no problem sharing. But, to do this, you need to sign in to PSN with my ID and re-download the game (can do this up to 5 times).

But, no offense,, it's not a good to reveal your PSN ID password to anyone, right? It's got my credit card details, sure you understand this.

The other way is for me to visit your home and type the password myself, download, and sign out without saving the password. That's kind of a hassle though.

Got any idea?

Just kidding. Not really sure bro, try to look for it in the shop price lists on the main page.

well you're right about that not a very good idea unless you really trust me or you can delete all your billing info first and and change your password temporarily. so that i can login and download the game. and then after that you can put your old your billing info and password back.
but yea it'll be too much of a hassle man hehe.

hmm.gif

Not sure. If you look information on your purchased games, down below it says

"This content can be used by people other than the content owners. However, if all owners are deleted, you'll no longer be able to play the content."

What is it really means?

If your wireless router is in the same house, I don't get it how you can only get 10% signal?

You should get at least 90%. And I use the cheapest wireless router that I can find, D-Link DIR-300. Good enough for me.

Well, that's your opinion.

My PS3 is in the living room, while my laptop together with the modem is in my room, imagine the cables I need. laugh.gif

Setting up is also easy, just make everything automatic. When a friend of mine visit with his laptop, turn on, enter security key, voila, he's online!

Shit, can't get the link right. Just copy the link, paste in notepad, remove the space, and make it one continuous line. Copy it back and put in in the download manager.

Thanks a million ringgit.  rclxms.gif  Now all I need to do is copy to a thumbdrive and copy to the ps3 rite? and yes those reasons above are some of the main driving factors why I chose the ps3 over the 360. I dont have the kind of money to spend on something that has a high failure rate. PS3 all teh way with free online. M$ can shove their 3 rings up theirs. Huwargh!

Err, it's a little be more complicated than that, just a little bit.

This method, you need to sacrifice your F@H. But this is the easier than the Store method.

Here's how you do it:

http://ps3mods.blogspot.com/2007/06/downlo...rhawk-beta.html

Sounds about right, except what if we dont have access to a windows pc? My laptop runs on ubuntu. The problem is the part where we install MS.net framework version 1.1. How do we do that on ubuntu? Will Wine suffice?
*
Yeah, that's about right. Only we don't need to rename your PKG demo game file to FAH.pkg. That's not necessary.

About Ubuntu, gues you have to knock on Uncle Google's door again. Got no experience with Ubuntu. Sorry. blush.gif wink.gif

Yes. But you need to download using your PS3 for about5 secs to activate the prchase.
Can do this before or after downloading through F@H.

This is unthinkable. How can they match PS3 to a 14" CRT TV?

RX, you got a 720p LCD TV ar? That means you're only displaying at 1080i, Interlaced.

Most of us like that I think. I don't know, me can't afford 1080p TV yet. Too damn expensive.

muchi, got one projector by hp cheap, rm 1.5k can do 1024 X 768, dvi input, hdcp-ed

aiman, mine is a plasma, 1024 X 768 , supports 1080p input, so i just let it auto to 1080p lor
*
You mean 1336x768? Same as mine, only mine is LCD.

That is our native resolution. HD ready TVs (720p) can receive 1080p input, but it will be interlaced.

That's why if you look at the TV display info while playing games or blu-ray, it will say 1080i instead of 1080p.

Friends, if you really want to feel the real true 1080p HD display, your monitor/TV should be 40" or above.

I can't understand why you want 1080p monitors below 32", you won't notice any difference between 720p or 1080p. Believe me.

Aiman....may I know when you say Band of brothers....you have the .mp4 file that is compatible with PS3 ke?

if it is true....how big is the file per episode of the Band of brothers?
*
Yes, MP4 for PS3. Each episode about 1.5 GB. 720p resolution. Want?

QUOTE(slickz @ Dec 13 2007, 09:11 PM)
What I also dont understand is that 1080p is 1920X1080, but yet my 1680X1050 monitor can display.

*
That's what interlaced means.

I'm no expert but this is what I understand.

If the monitor/TV is natively 720p:

PS3 can output the video as 1080i.

PS3 is actually using the extra pixels of the source (blu-ray movie or 1080p games), by interlacing it into the TVs native pixels.

So what you're seeing on TV is still 720p, only it is interlaced with the extra pixels of the source. This is called 1080i.

If the monitor/TV is natively 1080p:

PS3 can output the video as 1080p.

PS3 will output the source resolution as it is (blu-ray movie or 1080p games), matching exactly the TVs native pixels.

So what you're seeing on TV is the full 1080 vertical pixels of the source. This is called 1080p.

Confusing, huh? Hope I explained it simple enough. biggrin.gif

1080i = interlaced
1080p = progressive
