hi bros,

just bought my ps3 a week ago. kena racun ngan member2 to play online. then register maxis broadband (18 mths contract sweat.gif ). Unfortunately, can't connect to ps network but can surf the net. called maxis and they said the don't hve ps3 setting to do troubleshooting. cry.gif . anyone hve same problem using maxis broadband?? icon_question.gif

if I use my current hard disk on another ps3, will downloaded games such as warhawk be playable?
also my save data will be transferable right?

no.

u can only use the current HDD with the current PS3. not transferable, unless u format it.

I don't hv maxis broadband but I use another provider.
Were you able to browse the net using the PS3 web browser (when you describe that u can surf the net)?

If yes, try the following:
Try setting the MTU setting to the recommended setting on the modem/router and use a similar setting on the PS3.
I used 1400 successfully.

erk...so if you want to continue your game at a friend's house, how do you transfer the save file?
transferable to a flash drive?

how bout games owned on the ps3(downloaded)?
is it transferable to an external HDD? sweat.gif

1. If you buy one game, PSN will record it in the system.Lets say your HDD is fcuked, you will have to log inside PSN, go to downloaded items entry and redownload, for free of course. But you can only do this, 5 times. Demos? you have to download again , but no limit.

2. If you want to reformat the hdd (linux, upgrading etc )you can back everyhting up in a flash drive or a compatible hdd (i used a plain hdd with USB to IDE cable.)

1) It is more like unlimited downloads on 5 PS3s.

lol..i did fcuked up my hdd..not the PS3's fault tho..who would have thought installing linux would reformat tthe damn thing..LOOL!

Then later I upgraded to 160 gb (which is MANDATORY) so i backed up my data to my pc hdd smile.gif
