I'm a victim too tongue.gif i shifted house and had the same problem as yours. I gave them one month to resolve the problem. They wanna charge me another 88bucks to get a technician to get my streamyx working again. I just said "no thanks, i'm terminating it now"

Hi, I just bought a PS3 and I'm trying to update the firmware to v2.20 but its taking forever like 10mins or more to even reach 1%.

I've already setup my internet connection on my PS3, setup NAT on my router for both tcp & udp ports.

Tested my connection on my PS3 and its fine. So I'm just wondering if the slow download is normal? Anyone know how big is the patch?

Running on a 1MB Streamyx line.

I always download the FW through my laptop with my office's lightning connection, and update my PS3 using a pendrive when I get home later. thumbup.gif

It's much better than letting you PS3 turned on for hours, while you can't do anything to it. Why don't you guys do it that way? wink.gif

Maxis wireless BB is using HSDPA technology. There are various ways to connect to HSDPA network using PS3.

1) USB HSDPA modem connected to PC hosting ICS
2) HSDPA-capable phone connected to PC hosting ICS
3) HSDPA modem+router w/ ethernet ports

The easiest way is number 3.

awwright! later I have to go to Giant Tampoi, overthere got Maxis distributors..thanks buddy!

Update on the PSN Store

Just a reminder that there's no PSN Store update today, but the Store remains open for business. As announced last week, Warhawk is still on promotion for $29.99 (regular price $39.99). Sony is working hard on getting the revamped Store up and running. Keep an eye out for a walk-through video next week. In the meantime, take a peek at a few screens from the new interface.
