the LP prophecy i think is about SGD1.3k after discount. the SG of cos cheaper...over here can get quote of around RM2.5k for the SG w/ EMGs... the SG w/ dirty fingers is about RM300 cheaper...and uglier
What are the differences with all the super strat models offered by Kramer, Charvel, Jacksons etc.? And why is superteles not as popular? I just seen a James Root Fender sig, looks neat.

Hahah.. I have to agree.. but they are still popular for metal ma. I'd love to get a superstrat but I have not the faintest idea what sets these guitars apart. It all look the same to me.
Wish I can play Jazz too, but I have to work on my beginner lessons first
Super strats are usually re-tooled to be faster and heavier then your standard strat. It just kinda looks like a strat but of course sharper or more curved and usually loaded with humbuckers.
But then again, these are OTHER companies that makes them. Fender would call them strats still.
but going back to the kramer / charvel / jackson thingie...
early kramer's are made from ESP parts. ESP actually started as a parts maker, only much later did they start making their own guitars. some of the newer musicyo kramers are actually better than the originals, like the jersey star, ie. sambora model.
and as everyone knows, EVH back then used both kramers and charvels.
jacksons is the b@stard son, while ibanez is the gay one, while the fender superstrats take it both ways

LOL that clear things up a little Was eyeing for a DK2M, love the maple neck/strat HH combination, until I discovered many people prefer charvels/kramers over jacksons.

The pickups can be swapped out with other sets of pickups provided. Basically just push them out, and plug another one in. Don't know how exactly this works yet, I assume it only applies to the pickups they provided(that particular les paul provide two sets or four pickups to play with).
Sound like a cool idea....... but normally, I like to stick to one pickup. EMGs just sound right to me, but I'm open to the idea of Seymours and DiMarzios.....
Ah hell....... The Ibanez EGEN.........A WHOPPING USD $3066.65...............................
Even at street price of USD $2500 range...... urgh...... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over budget. My maximum budget is only RM6k
We'll see how......... Maybe I'll get that Razorback 255 like I originally wanted...... or will get the new 24-Fret S Prestiege and modify the crap out of it.
And check out the latest Guitar World issue......
Through The Fire And The Flames tabbed??? HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!
