looking at the guitar world tab poll for shred category, i would REALLY much rather see sail on soothsayer be tabbed rather than through the fire and the flames(thats not shred!) scarified wouldnt be bad either

QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Mar 13 2008, 07:11 PM)
I read an article bout that in ultimate guitar.Seems that friedman finds that megadeth is simply not heavy enough?
*
It was during Risk album era where Megadeth music was influenced by pop and disco (thanks to producer at that time). That was not the big issue. One biggest issue at that time was that Mustaine removed Marty's solo on the track Breadline and replaced with his without Marty's permission. That pretty much triggered the spark. But he did say Megadeth were not heavy enough, but it was referring to that album.

Ironically Marty left and went to Japan and explore J-rock and J-pop music tongue.gif

For me, I whacked it against my amplifier when I played a power chord too hard.

Sigh........ now facing facts and might go for the S5470 Prestige (Around USD 1300, converted, around RM4200) and then put in DiMarzio Evolutions and coil tapping. And then will have to see if I want to get it Scalloped..... Anyone can recommend a powerful middle pickup?
