truth be told... if the 9800GX2 is priced around 2k and it works properly in quad SLI.....looks like i have something to look forward to in the near future ( aka paying credit cards bills )

EDIT: forgot to mention...of course... provided that the performance boost is significant enough for the money.

im pretty sure theres some out in the market that does since the 2900xt came out.

and im pretty sure the cards will come with an adapter of some sort....

thats the thing....imagine the beast in quad SLI...

actually judging by the 8800GTX n Ultra...

2k+ for the 9800GX2 is the price i was expecting the card to be...so no real suprise there...

of course hope itll be cheaper la...but

not really... if a single 9800GX2 is more powerful than GT or GTS512 SLI....imagine what kinda power a 9800GX2 SLI would have...

besides... all the specs out on the internet right now is not official and are just hearsay and rumors....nuttin confirmed. NVIDIA has not mentioned anything about the 9800GX2. not even a possible release date.

for all u know the 9800GX2 might not even be based on the G92.

until an official announcement comes out from NVIDIA themselves... its just purely speculation right now. so well just wait and see.

i dont think NVidia is THAT stupid to make a GX2 lose out that badly to previous gen cards in SLI.

that bench scores looks more suitable for a 9600GT SLi honestly....

i wont be too worried about the 8 pin socket thingy.....im pretty sure itll come with a converter like how most 6pin GC comes with the molex->6pin converters as well....

high end card mah....expected la to be that price....

should be roughly the same price as Ultra....

but if it touches 2.7 or 2.8k then im gonna say forget it
