Benchmarks
In the Benchmarks, there were unfortunately some restrictions on the part of the manufacturer. The test screen could unfortunately only a maximal solution of 1280 once 768 pixels what has as a consequence, that here a Prozessorlimitation will step effective. In order to cause that toward, we drastically increased the quality attitudes. So 16-fold Anisotropic-filtering comes, as well as 4-fold Anti-Aliasing in a level of quality of 7 to the use. Tested have we in the 3DMARK06 of future mark. Unfortunately we had only time based on the manufacturer for some few measurements.
Unfortunately was available us no GeForce 8800 GTS with G92-Chip, had to leave we it first of all in the GeForce 8800 ultras and GTX. To see how in the test results, the GeForce drops are procentual itself 9800 GX2 yet clearly of the GeForce 8800 ultras, this about 19 percent. The GeForce 8800 GTX positioned 8800 ultras somewhat further knocked off themselves under the GeForce.
Result
We cannot pull an actual result at this place based on the few measurements and the test conditions. To hold is however that the GeForce becomes 9800 GX2 clearly faster its than all, what introduced nVidia before, and that wanted nVidia with the GeForce 9800 GX2 also reach. Exciting it becomes once again if the GeForce must begin 9800 GX2 against AMDs Radeon HD 3870 X2, who here wins could we today not yet show, become this however as soon as it make up possible is us.

Well, thing is, at least we know that it is scaling up as a single card. But it is not scaling up as a dual core. I bet 8800GT SLI would have the same results as this 9800GX2, which, once again is on 2 PCBs with lots of heat issues to consider. Can't they learn something from their mistakes? |
