Bear in mind, this is the released price and many shops tend to jack up the price.

Besides, the 8800GT did not come out like current price tag as well. IIRC, its around RM1k. Heck, even the "Almighty" 8600GTS debuted at RM700+ as well. tongue.gif Just wait and see when the price stabilize. There aint too many reviews out there as well so, do not conclude this baby as a "Not So Great" card as yet. It might not be better than the 8800GT but it might not be bad as well.. smile.gif

Is there any other brand besides asus and msi for 9600gt that already out at lowyat?

Im going to lowyat this saturday to buy new rig. Was thinking either 9600gt or 8800gt.

So what you guys think? should I take 9600 or 8800? Budget for GC around rm700.

hmm after looking at the benchies, the 9600gt might be good too..
even better than 3870..
initially i thought this card's performance is behind the 3850 because of the 4 ROPS and 64 SPs.. hmm.gif

8800GT is proven and the price premium is not huge.
