QUOTE(akachester @ Apr 15 2008, 07:09 PM) Check out the Galaxy 8800GT at LYP on Saturday. Pretty sure the cooler are almost the same as the 9600GT. And yes, it does suck the air out from the casing. The only difference is that it does not come with the PCI bracket like conventional 2 slot cooler. So, you may need something like aeroslots to let the air out thats the whole point of having the bracket, u dont want any leakage of hot air back into casing. my Casing is already hot enough. (Pentium D Ftw!) And I dont plan to spend another RM100-200 just to change the casing. That money can be spend wiser on other place other than better cooler/casing. So spending extra RM50-100 for a OC ver of 9600GT, seems worth to me.

which 9600GT brand is best bang for buck including the consideration of: -temperature, -noise, -performance(at default card clock), -preOC or not preOC, -overclock capability, -memory used(hynix, qimonda, samsung and etc) - and price ofcoz
im going to get 1 for myself which i prefer to get as cheap as possible while maintain a good performance of out it.. and if u all know a place where can get that particular brand cheap(either forumer/shop) then pls inform me too... thx...

9800GT with 55nm anyone? Estimated to be here by July.. More 55nm GeForce 9800 GT InfoQUOTE The new 9800GT card is codenamed G92-280 and it is using a new P393-C00 PCB that supports Hybrid Power. There will be 256MB and 512MB GDDR3 versions that clocked at 900MHz and 975MHz respectively. The core clock has not been determined yet but it should clock higher than the current GeForce 8800 GT which is at 600MHz default Source : http://sg.vr-zone.com/articles/More_55nm_G..._Info/5724.html
