wow u must really know GC's.......
dude what r u sayin.....both cards come with almost identical spec ie:
Obtained from www.overclock.net
Well here is the differences between the G92 8800GTS and the G92 9800GTX:
1. The memory is a higher binned memory, thus allowing for higher OCs than the G92 GTS memory.
2. Same core but different. The G92 GTS core is the G92-400-A2 revision, while the 9800GTX get the G92-420-A2 revision.
3. More power consumption, thus the 2x PCIe power connectors. (though some say not really that much even with 2pcie connectors)
4. Higher Shaders......
So if it were at a higher reso the score would still be rather close......
heck my latest score here already beat that GTX
16315

maybe he's saying the score difference at higher resolution would not be so little ~ 13marks... who knows, why not you give it a try? dude what r u sayin.....both cards come with almost identical spec ie:

but anyway it doesn't matter because it's good news for those who upgrade from 7series or lower as the price is so much competitive and more choices now than a year back...
