It depends, perhaps he wanna show the frozen droplets instead of smooth silky water. Anyway I like the frozen droplets.

Shooting flowing liquids is pretty interesting. You can play with low and high shutter to get different effect.

If you want to freeze those water droplets, use fast shutter speed.


If you want to have a flowing river to look silky smooth, use lower shutter speed.

i actually dont mind comments, but about personal preferences its a totally different story.
he is clear, he said use slower shutter for more dreamier effect.

they can do much more, if they're willing to.

for the droplet shots.. i like the freezing droplets but somehow the gold plated background is distracting me..i am having a hard time to focus on the droplets as the golden shiney background is distracting me... just MO

for that wedding shot, i suggest you try to not clip the highlights too much lor... its a lil too saturated for me... i prefer if the shot was just a WB tweak to make it warmer coz the shot perfectly fine to me why fix something that aint spoiled right

wedding shots. Its not what i've done right, but to look good. Its not about sharpness, colors, and details at all. Although i did try to
loose details at minimum. If you noticed i did some Gaussian blurry effect to give it a glow effect. Im trying to make it even better.

Wedding shot its all about moment & colors...

i knew you will be particular about that word... i no spell wrong ler... look at dictionary well i guess its preferential about those editing then...i personally dont like to edit the photos from the original much... hope to see more from you
