QUOTE(jsc_tidus @ Jun 2 2008, 01:24 PM) Shooting flowing liquids is pretty interesting. You can play with low and high shutter to get different effect. If you want to freeze those water droplets, use fast shutter speed. ![]() If you want to have a flowing river to look silky smooth, use lower shutter speed. ![]() p/s: Pardon my noobie shots by my S3 IS |

hello there,
for the droplet shots.. i like the freezing droplets but somehow the gold plated background is distracting me..i am having a hard time to focus on the droplets as the golden shiney background is distracting me... just MO for that wedding shot, i suggest you try to not clip the highlights too much lor... its a lil too saturated for me... i prefer if the shot was just a WB tweak to make it warmer coz the shot perfectly fine to me This post has been edited by orenzai: Jun 15 2008, 12:14 PM |

Its not what i've done right, but to look good. Its not about sharpness, colors, and details at all. Although i did try to loose details at minimum. If you noticed i did some Gaussian blurry effect to give it a glow effect. Im trying to make it even better. |
