my phone hovers at about 7.3-7.7MB of RAM after using several app and closing them such as the gallery, dictionary, music player, messaging etc. Last time it could drop till 3MB then increase to 5MB then to 7MB then go down again after heavy usage.

It doesn't seem to drop any lower than that when I quit my app and go to the standby screen. During that time I checked and taskman tells me that the following programs are opened: standby, music player, contacts and gallery. I also have timebar running.

The reason for less RAM when compared to startup is because most of it is used to cache programs and contents.

start up that time i check FExplorer under processes, got around 100 processes running, then i start a few software, camera, music player, then show the processes there, after i close them all, i still see camera sever , musicplayer processes there, some times got 2 summore , cant even close. I think thats the reason taking up all ram

guys, was trying to help my friend update his N73 ME to the latest firmware, but everytime it is installing, it hangs, and "Phone Recovery" appears...

Once i've recovered the phone, it just won't install the firmware again...

Anybody care to help?

Hoho...I use Handy Taskman to check the RAM...
Just hold the menu button for a while then the app appears...
No need to access menu or anything...
