It's not their job to notify you.
It's your job to know that the item you're importing is illegal & by all means it will be destroyed without any information given to you.

Next time, don't import anything illegal.

My item not illegal la but no inform also. Just some figurines....and not hentai ok. XD

memang kerja diorang lah mana2 barang yang diorang tahan sepatutnye kene ada notis..
pasal i ada call KDN untuk buat rayuan n diorang tanye sal notis penahanan untuk mane2 barang yang di tahan..
jadi i cakap lah tak dapat,jadi i pun call balik kastam.lepas tu baru kastam cakap kene tunggu 2 minggu
baru diorang send notis.tapi barang i sudah 3 minggu sebenarnye kene tahan..
tapi yang penting i dah usaha buat rayuan dkt KDN,kalau tak lepas pun takpe janji sudah usaha.

Even prohibited items the kastam will still mail you the notification with the reason your item is being detained etc...if you got no notification just call and ask them. The last few years it was like that I don't know their current practice now. Still notified the recipient or not if item detained by them.

Poslaju called your gf and told her that the parcel was detained??
If so, your gf should be getting the form through poslaju in 1-2days.

I've put my gf name+address+phone. But it seems on the parcel it states my phone number instead, I guess it follow the billing phone number of my credit card

First time my parcel got detain, it is not even value more than Rm300

My last parcel was opened by custom and it was not detain, basically the same item.. Weird

Added on December 6, 2011, 11:46 amMy parcel kena tahan because on one of the box it has the word gun.. where it is actually a shooting target.. after opening the box and showing that its a shooting target and contain no gun, item was release.. the shooting target was a surprise free gift from the seller..
