Purchased clothes for my nephew from taiwan,but i dont know why the hell did they hold my items ,finally i called pos laju and the agent used,at first poslaju said they hv the item,but after i called for 2nd time for delivery,they said they gave it to custom ,now custom wants me to pay Rm52.00 to release the item,it was like,hell,im not seller/retailer,im just buying tht coz my nephew keeps asking for the transformers tshirt

anyone know how about Singapore customs ?
how much SGD parcel just can avoid the customs taxes for football jersey ?

Correct !!!, declaration must be done in that way..

FYI, camera lenses are not subjected to dut/tax. you can browse http://tariff.customs.gov.my/ and key in the HS Code of 9002.

my item was detained by customs 2 weeks ago, and i was told and got a notice from POS MALAYSIA,

since I'm not live at KL, and i couldn't to go there to collect it myself, and so i have sent/fax back the notice to POS MALAYSIA and chose them as my agent...

but its already been 2-3 weeks, at first i was told 3-4 days to process, then i called them, and they told me after RAYA, then yesterday i called POS MALAYSIA again, and they said my item is still with CUSTOMS there and they havent release my item so the POS MALAYSIA cant doing anything... zzzz

so, i was getting upset, and i asked them to get me to the customs, and the operator gave me a number to the customs person in charge (03 8777 3682) but i called that number N times, never got ppl pick up my call ...

and then, i called back POS MALAYSIA, the operator gave me another number, similar 03 8777 3683... ok, i called the number, a female operatpr answered... and i asked her regards my item... and she said she is not the incharge person, and she said she will tell the person incharge regards my issues...

i asked her, take how long ? she told me don't know, not sure... zzz ==
and she told me to call and ask the person incharge (03 8777 3682)

walao eh.......... i already called the number N times since this morning but never get answered .... so how ?

anyone can help me ? or is there any other number/way to get to talk with the KASTAM person incharge?? =(

Yes, item value + shipping must not exceed SGD400. Or you will be taxed GST 7%.

Need some opinion; I usually ask Kinokuniya to get me some tankoban manga from japan, but recently they couldn't bring in some titles saying it might be detained by kastam.

Think if I order through yesasia or amazon japan through courier service like fedex, kastam will detained it?

hi....importing comic book, it's required to obtain an approval from Home Ministry...kindly contact them to obtain an approval from importing in. FYI, importing printed books are duty/tax free. Hope this information will help u.

how to call pos malaysia..my stuff also being detain by custom although i buy it wit jbtalks who said cant reach straight away to my hse but yet i being told by skyfast courier company (dunno really exist onot)said that my package kena tax n need to pay money then only will release my stuff....need hlp here

For past 6 months... i have lost 2 packages from Japan. =.=;;

1 package is already 6 month over due, another one is 1 month overdue. I live in USJ.

Got another one from US supposed to come this week but still no news. I'm worried. I would've chosen express mail but these items i had no choice. It was free shipping given by sellers. Thinking of going to ss13 post office to check/complain tomorrow. Doubt it'll help since can't be track. Sigh.

After 10 years using online purchases, finally i kena the dreaded "Malaysian post office" nightmare that everyone complain about. Dunno if i should blame kastam or blame post office.
